    I made a mistake in the "ship to" address, so I called as soon as I realized the mistake, but before the items were delivered. I ordered from multiple vendors, assuming Bed Bath & Beyond would help me correct the mistake, as Amazon and Chewy.com do. Big mistake. I was told repeatedly that they could do nothing since it was part of "the marketplace." The individual vendors equally said they could do nothing, as did UPS. So I paid and received zilch. This was 6 months ago. No deal is worth the aggravation. Service Value Shipping
    In the description of the Vanity I bought, it was to include a 3 inch back splash and a power drawer. Relieved the product and no back splash or power drawer. They didn't even include the feet to offset any uneven flooring. I have emailed and called now for 3 weeks. I get the same BS. The vanity doesn't come with those parts sir.     Since overstock is now bed bath and beyond I'm writing a bad review for them. I bought a mirror last year that I set aside for a renovation project, I finally got around to that project and the mirror was completely shattered, I contacted bed bath to see if they could honor the item, unfortunately at no help even though I didn't break the mirror it came out of packaging completely broken they could not honor anything.     I waited 2 weeks not 2 days like promised. Then I called & they said they didn't have my $400 vanity in stock. They NEVER emailed me or informed me. They took my $, lied about "shipped". I FINALLY talked 2 customer service & she said "we don't have any vanities, but you can wait for something to come in?". I said "You took my money, lied about shipping (I thought it was odd when I tried tracking & it only said "out for delivery but running late", you NEVER even had my vanity in the 1st place & you think I want to wait 3 months until you guys buy one from Amazon.     I ordered a leather couch, they sent me a cloth couch now I'm waiting long periods of time to receive the order I paid for, in the same order I ordered a leather chair that came broken. Now I have to wait an extended time in order for my order to be fixed. They have nice things but it's not worth the hassle. Who ever packed the orders knew they were wrong and broken but still sent them.     DO NOT BUY FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND! THEY WILL SEND YOU THE WRONG ITEM AND CHARGE YOU $500 TO RETURN IT. I bought a double vanity on their app in November 2023. It was supposed to arrive within two weeks. I received no email receipt, only a tracking number that hit a 404 page not found error. Two weeks later, still no receipt, still not functional tracking number, and no news from Bed Bath & Beyond. Four weeks after I ordered, they finally called me to ask when was a good time to deliver the vanity. On receipt, I discovered that they had sent me the wrong item – a single vanity in place of a double vanity. When I called them to find a resolution, they denied that they had made a mistake – surprisingly enough, the next day the email receipt (which I had never received) appeared in my inbox, displaying the same single vanity they claim I had ordered. So despite a clear recognition that their online systems had messed up (between the missing email receipt that appeared two months later, the lack of a tracking number and the delayed delivery) they are unwilling to accept responsibility for delivering the wrong item. Their website says they have a 30-day return window, but what they don't tell you is that the return shipping could be over $500! Do not shop here. It is not worth the pain.     I am beyond frustrated right now. I've been trying to delete my credit card on file as I do not want to make purchases anymore, and it is undoable. The instructions on how to do it won't work. Unchecking the box temporarily hides the information, but checking it brings it back. The agent I called confirmed this. The only way delete the old info is by making a purchase and adding in another card. I've tried to delete my account information under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), but Bed, Bath, and Beyond refuses to do so for 4 years, saying I made a purchase, so they need the information for that long before they can delete my account. I've never had a company deny my request. The internal database would have this information. The public account should be able to be deleted.     I order a bedding set on Feb 13,2024. After almost 10 days, I received a small box with only a set of two pillow cases. I called customer service and after they gave the run around, they finally agreed to send me a replacement. I asked the agent to make sure that the warehouse sends the ENTIRE set. He kept saying: "I got you." Today, I got the second delivery and guess what? A small package with a set of two pillow cases. I called the company's corporate office in an attempt to file a complaint. I was told that if I want to complain about the company's customer service, I need to call customer service.     I have been a long-time customer of Bed Bath & Beyond, and it's disheartening to say that my recent experience has been nothing short of terrible. Since the business was repurchased by Overstock, the quality of service has plummeted to an all-time low. I placed an order for a Christmas tree with a promised delivery date of December 5. However, as of December 11, my order remains stagnant, with only a label generated and no sign of it being dispatched to FedEx. This lack of efficiency and communication is inexcusable, especially during the holiday season. Considering my years of history with Bed Bath & Beyond, this experience has left me utterly disappointed. I had hoped for better service, but it seems the changes post-repurchase have had a negative impact.     I ordered gray curtains. The ones I received were green. Not my color. I contacted Bed, Bath & Beyond and they told me I had to pay myself for return shipping. This was their fault.     TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I purchased an item from them over 2 months ago. (Today is January 12,2024.) Purchase made in November. Upon receipt of the item, I decided to return the item. I went to BB&B's website to do the return and found out -- SURPRISE -- my purchase was through a third-party vendor. This means BB&B did not sell me the item but some company that BB&B allows on the website sold to me. BB&B put me in touch with the vendor. I sent the vendor an email. They sent me a return shipping label. I promptly and timely shipped the item back (the same day I received the label). The item was received at BB&B's warehouse. I waited for my refund which never showed up. I called and emailed the third-party vendor MANY MULTIPLE TIMES and they ignored me. So I contacted BB&B and they gave me the runaround for weeks. At one point, a regular employee over there PRETENDED TO BE A SUPERVISOR to handle my case. She lied to me over and over again. She promised to call me back in 2 days and never called back. I called again and I got a REAL SUPERVISOR who looked into the matter and he discovered that an employee over there took my call pretending to be a supervisor, which is how I found out. BED BATH & BEYOND LITERALLY REFUSES TO PUSH A BUTTON TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Instead, they have been holding me hostage for over 6 weeks trying to figure out what to do with a third-party vendor who DISAPPEARED all the while they have in their own warehouse the item that I returned. The supervisor told me, "I see that you returned the item and it is in our warehouse." To which I said, "Well, since you have it in your possession, give me my money back." Supervisor said, "I can't do that. We have to follow protocol." WTAF? BUYERS BEWARE!     I am an interior designer and I ordered a queen bed frame for a client. They sent the wrong bed size. We complained and asked for a replacement TWO weeks ago. But can you believe customer service does not know when the bed will arrive? The tracking details still say "processing." Not only did they send the wrong bed size, but they also have yet to rectify their mistake. When you call customer service is literally useless y'all.     I wanted to return curtains I purchased because they sent me the wrong color. Green instead of grey. You would think they would apologize but no. They told me to pay myself for return shipping.     I ordered from Bed, Bath, and Beyond online for my first and last time. I ordered five sets of 84 inch curtains and received two sets of 84 inch curtains and three sets of 96 inch curtains. The receipt had five sets of 96 inch curtains which was inaccurate. After my fourth attempt of explaining it in writing, I was able to get someone in customer service to understand written English and give me an unsatisfactory response. I did send a picture of the 84 inch and 96 inch curtains hanging so they could understand by a visual. The response was that they no longer have the 84 inch curtains and I could return the curtains at my expense, receive an in store credit, and could spend the in store credit for the next 50 years. I clearly understand why Bed, Bath, and Beyond has filed for bankruptcy because they were unable to turn their business model around and it starts with service recovery which they failed with me. Not interested in a 50 year credit for a business in bankruptcy at my expense. Their answer to the problem that they created was was like their name, "Beyond" acceptable.     So I ordered a foam bean bag chair for $125 online when it arrived there was zero foam in it it's just a cover then I found out it cost $40 for 10 lb of foam and this chair takes 100 lb of it on top of that the blankets I ordered they sent the wrong colors worst online shopping experience I have ever had if I could give them less than one star like a tenth of a star that's what I'd give them.     I ordered 4 Corning ceramic soup mugs. Three came packed in a large box with loose bubble wrap, two out of the three were smashed. The replacement order of two mugs came with one smashed because they were both put in the same bubble wrap. It's just stupid lazy workers and poor supervision. Poorly trained employees. Warning: don't order from Bed Bath and beyond.com. This will be the next company to go down the tubes. UPS Delivery Agent could hear the broken items but left them anyway.
    On 1 occasion I purchased a cold brew coffee maker. I got home with it, opened it and it was used. Disgustingly stained with coffee! Seriously why put a used item back on the shelf? So unsanitary. I live 30 min. Away from nearest BedB&B so returning was not a simple run back and exchange ordeal. Anyways I called to let them know and they were polite and told me to return at my convenience. On trip 2 I went to purchase a waffle maker. The red price tag on the shelf said was$99.99 Now$49.99. So my husband and I put two in our cart. Got to register and it rang up $99.99. A young man ran back to price check as well as myself and I took a photo of the price tag. And ask the lady working the area if $49.99 was the price for said waffle maker and she said yes it says that so I have to honor that price. She seemed angry and ripped the red tag off the shelf. Meanwhile the young man made it back to the register before me and told the cashier $99.99. So my husband who was still waiting to pay went ahead and paid full price for only 1. I get up to the service desk and show them the sale price and the lady tells me well he already paid for the 1st one so I can only honor the $49.99 for the 2nd waffle maker. Just rude! Should have honored price for both since we had both to begin with

    How is this company still around? I purchased a mattress cover 9 days ago. It still hasn't been picked up from Bed Bath and Beyond. I tried contacting them this morning to see if I should give up on it, but the bot kept telling me that my email address and name weren't in their system. They are literally on the order confirmation, so I know I am not wrong. It took forever to get to a service representative. And then immediately disconnected. And I had to start the whole process again. And once I did it again, they told me their representatives were too busy and to try again. I can't cancel it, because it shows it has been shipped, even though it hasn't been picked up. I should have just gone with Amazon, which i just did. Amazon says it will be here tomorrow.     I placed an order here, the site would not allow me to pay via card, however, I was able to pay with Paypal which I rarely use. I messed up and sent it to an old address of mine. Since the site was not responding to login attempts, I called customer service mere minutes after placing the order who said they "would escalate" the delivery address change to their supplier, which apparently did not work as I received tracking showing the wrong address days later. I called back, they said I had to login to UPS to change the address, even though I explained I tried calling UPS to which I was told only the Sender can update the address. I told Bed Bath and Beyond this to which they said they cannot update the delivery address either. Updating a delivery address should be customer service 1-0-1, especially when reported minutes after the order being placed. None of this would have happened if their website worked and I could pay through card (OK OK - or if I paid attention when using Paypal) Nevertheless, this is astoundingly inept customer service.
