    Took my money and then CR cancel the order on their end because of an IT problem. Don't understand why they just can't then send the item. 3 weeks in and still waiting for Paypal to credit my account. What a hassle. Thanks CR for wasting my time.     Still waiting 4 months plus for "crash replacement" part that should of been under warranty and I ended up paying for. Not to mention the $70 in store credit for receiving damaged bike.     Read the return policy carefully. They will deduct restocking fees for any reason. Even if there is a fault, they won't return for full price. They will at best force you to file a warranty claim which they have sole discretion over. Terrible company and deceptive deals. Think you are getting a modern component?     The site clearly stated cut off times for next day delivery. I ordered well within time as i had broken some parts on my bike and needed to replace them in a hurry for a trip down south the next day. I could have gone to a local bike store but chose CRC instead. The order didn't arrive the next day. I missed a pre booked day at the bike park and scheduled night ride as well as a hell of a lot of messing to amend trains and hotels. I tried to contact CRC a total number of 6 times to resolve this issue. It's taken till now… 10/01/2024 to only have my postage refunded (which will take 5 days to refund) and CRC have now washed their hands of the issue…. I wasn't expecting them to refund me for all my expenses as that's a little far but a little voucher for £10 or free next day delivery on my next order or something as an apology would have been great but to only offer my postage back after the issue has been dragged out by them for 23 days i think is just unacceptable.     1400 Euros order haven't arrived in over 2 weeks. Order placed on 5 august, writing this on 24. So almost a month and my order has not arrived. Contacted them 2 times, both times waited until they're said, still nothing. Contacted them a 3rd time, no response in 2 days. The DPD delivery info / status is stating that my order in in France since the dispatch, seems like it's stuck there & last update was on 19 august.     Where to start, if I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a £99 frame they sent me a £600 carbon frame, when I contacted them I was told I had to give the the dimensions of the box along with the weight (not easy) then tell them which day I was going to be in between 8am and 6pm then I had to photograph the collection and send it to them before they would send my original order. Treating me like a criminal when in reality I saved them £500 with my honesty as other people may have just kept quiet. No thanks or discussion just an automated response. As it fell around a bank holiday I am looking at 3 weeks to get the frame I originally ordered. Poorest of the poorest customer service ever, bar none.     I have been ordering bike stuff from them for years now and lately I am trying to stay away from them but they had Vittoria tires on sale so I ordered them and something that you usually would receive in few days can now take weeks, it's usually not their fault but their customer service when you try to get things like this sorted is horrible, they're just not worth, if you can try making deals with your local bike shop that's my friendly advice.     Embarrassing delivery service. They keep using Evri and the delivery timeline has massively deteriorated. The customer service try to justify them which makes even more annoying the customer experience.     A phone call would have sorted the problem. They cancelled my order because item was not in stock even though it was in stock when i ordered. I ordered a sram brake calliper and a calliper bracket. They sent calliper bracket but no brake calliper. The bracket was for the calliper they cancelled so totally no good. But they sent it anyway lol. Charged a £5 for postage too. I am a student and had no more cash, now i have to wait until the refund came back 5 days later. I needed the brake calliper urgently thats why i paid for next day postage. Lol. If they would have rung i would have told em to replace with different item.     Two weeks ago I returned two tires $90, wrong type, I immediately return them un opened in the box that they arrived in. No refund, no answer to emails, a useless chat, I should have read reviews before dealing with this outfit. 95 percent of reviews are negative.     A warning to any would be customer thinking or buying from this company - Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Our bike was delivered damaged and after much hassle through their 'live chat' (no direct contact) they eventually, after much more hassle, advised us to get it repaired ourselves rather than help or fix the issue themselves. The packaging is not adequate enough to protect the bike in transit, which I suspect has allowed the damage to occur. Very poor indeed - Buyer beware!     STEER CLEAR BUY YOUR BIKE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY! DO NOT USE Awful company when an item arrived damaged they send us a link of how to fit the item and say heres a link so you can purchase it yourself! Really the bike arrived with a part that they had apparently checked? Not very well obviously and 2 parts dropped out of the end bent and apparently we have fitted it incorrectly. I do not think so. I feel anyone with similar issues to me should get together and put a law suit against the company as it is just not acceptable to send a brand new bike with broken parts and then not accept liability.     Worst online buying experience ever. Paid nearly $100 in good faith for delivery of bike parts. Parts never arrived. Chain Reaction refused to rectify the situation, claiming they sent said items and that they have no further obligation.     Chain reaction gave me zero help when I ordered a bike from them and ran into problems. After two weeks my back never showed up so I called DHl Wondering what happened. It turns out CHR did not pay for the duties. I emailed them and five days later they told me I'll have my bike in two days. That was about a week ago I still don't have my bike. Long story short they use DHL which is a $#*! company. I hope they go out of business I haven't had my bike in almost 3 weeks. I'm having to Drive five hours just to pick it up to ensure I get it. Reported to Chain Reaction Cycles who are refusing to offer any help/advice, let alone a refund, and claiming I caused the fault.     If you live in the US, and want your orders to get to you in 2 weeks (that's the type of service they use with P2P Trakpak), with no real tracking and expected delivery date, then by all means order from Chain Reaction. This to me is tremendous disrespect to customers, and I urge you not to shop with them. Tip for consumers:if you are in the US, suggest you avoid CR/wiggle and their disrespect to their clients.     Really poor customer service. We made a mistake and ordered the wrong size tyre, their return policy is difficult to follow and when our return was lost in transit we lost our money. Our own fault I know as we failed to keep the tracking number however the attitude from their customer service staff was terrible it is basically "computer says no". They didn't offer us anything, even a discount on a reorder or any sort of solution. Would never deal with them again. They did not communicate with us at all, it was up to us to keep contacting them to see if the return had arrived. Prices are cheap for a reason. No care and no responsibility.     Bought a bike from CRC, paid $4816. 23 CAD, including shipping and duty handled by CRC. Bike arrived scratched and damaged with a big hole in the shipping box. It was a hassle to get things in order so I can start riding. Back and forth emails with the CRC staff, trip to town to get the bike fixed were very frustrating. At the end CRC didn't resolve my trouble to my satisfaction. It was way too much hassle to get things right and took away all the fun out the experience of purchasing a close to $5K bike. Based on this I don't recommend this company, and don't bother to review on their site bc they avoid posting negative experiences... that's what they did with mine...     Ordered 2 x fat bike tyres 26 x 4.8 jumbo jims only one was correct size. Please if your sending product overseas look on the box and send correct size plain as day, also no response customer service.     Some nice gear and sometimes the prices are better. They're one of the many sites to look at when buying bike stuff and sometimes they are cheaper. When they are cheaper then there is usually no problems but they are a lot slower to ship than what it says on the website.     This is how Chain Reaction Cycles deliver your brand new bike. Packaging was poor enough for the lever to poke through from the inside and get damaged. Chips out of the paint that can only have been there BEFORE packaging. And a hub that had been put together incorrectly and a locking cap threaded so the hub had movement. Now before I get blasted I'd like to say that I bought the bike as a brand new item. Although I don't expect my bike to stay in new condition I do expect it to arrive that way. I also know they do not have stock to replace the damaged bike as every bike shop is short of stock. I have had the hub repaired by a friend as local bike shops are so busy I didn't want to wait weeks before riding the bike properly. I contacted CRC with my issues and hinted at a 10% discount refund to soften the disappointment of new bike day. They have offered to pay for the repair of the hub up to £30 and only with a receipt (impossible unless I wait two weeks for a repair and subsequently to ride my new bike). And offered £80 in vouchers. It's not far from what I expected to get to but poor customer care will keep me from buying from them again once I have spent the vouchers. Feel free to make up you own mind if you would buy a brand new damaged bike with a 5% discount. I won't again and if there were stock available readily elsewhere I would have returned the bike and never bought from them again. Poor very poor. Date of experience: July 28, 2020
