    I signed up for Get Response, not realizing the pricing I was shown was in USD. I tried to cancel my account immediately after I signed up and realized this. They do not offer refunds, claiming it's in their Terms of Service, which you are never shown when you sign up. This is poor customer service and frankly scam behaviour. With all the other email marketing platforms out there, I would choose another one.
    This program is very difficult to use despite all of there ads stating it's for beginners no customer service to help
    I've used Get Response for 4+ years, but I have become very disappointed with their lack of live and responsive customer support. Their Compliance Dept. is absolutely terrible. They reject perfectly valid lists and use canned responses when the refuse a list that you have tried to import. No way to talk to live support. Service Value
    A former contractor signed our company up for an account and did not provide any details about the subscription when let go. We attempted on numerous occasions to cancel the subscription since we never used it, but continued to get the run around. We lodged complaints through the bank, but GetReponse seemed to have a work around by changing phone numbers (that seems to be an answering service)and debit our account. We have never used this subscription, couldn't find a way to stop payment, and are so fed up, that a company with "response" in their name would be so difficult in getting a "response". Tip for consumers:Trying to get a response and cancel an account from this company has been almost an example of an oxymoron played out in business. Products used:None Service
    This platform is absolute trash. Not only is it extremely difficult to use, (I wasted hours building landing pages because edits to the mobile and desktop versions interfere with each other and completely screw your landing page up), the service is garbage too. I paused my account and had the intent to cancel it. However, in order to cancel you have to reactivate. I reactivated and canceled within one minute, but guess what, they charged my account and refuse to issue a refund even though I did not use the platform at all. Do NOT waste your time or money. You get what you pay for, and this is a cheap, useless tool/service. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
    I wanted to trial getresponse. Their plans say "try free for 30 days" in tiny writing below the "choose plan" button, which I believed to mean I could trial their plan for 30 days! I chose the mid tier plan and it charged me immediately. When I contacted them immediately about this (without even using their service) they said they wouldn't refund the money or allow me to trial their site because it was my mistake for clicking the wrong button (the text below the button is also a button- not very clear). They argued that there was a "clear distinction" in the trial (there wasn't) They've now lost a customer, because they essentially tricked and misled me into a subscription.
    They charged me for service I didn't order then refused to refund my card and cancelled my subscription that I never ordered only to charge me again 30 days later and refuse to refund again. They have no phone number to speak to someone and hide behind email communication. Scammers.     I tried the email "free" service but it was extremely limited, not allowing my email campaign to be executed properly. I then upgraded based on the many capabilities advertised on GETRESPONSE website, but soon found out the email test could not be received successfully. When I tried to contact customer service that was advertised as "24/7" availability, no phone number was available! I tried chat several times but each person was not able to provide a clear, consistent solution to the email verification issues and more! They also have a high email undeliverability rate! I immediately asked for my account to be closed and full refund of my money. Only 1 response after reaching out 6 times! After one month, I received my credit card statement and see a charge by this company for $201.92! This company is hiding behind fake awards and reviews! They are falsely advertising and charging credit cards while ignoring consumer communication and complaints. This company should be investigated for its bad service, lack of integrity and illegal tactics. DO NOT USE!     I agree with another reviewer. I tried to choose the free trial. But was guided to purchase a subscription. I uploaded an email list from past customers from my own website. So, you cant get a better email list. All 12,000 contacts were rejected. I contacted via chat to see how this could be resolved. They emailed me hours later and said to get a more recent list. I only uploaded names and emails. How do they know how old the list is I told them it was past customers and I had no other list. They refused to allow my list. I requested a refund. Within 12 hrs of purchase. They refused to refund me saying that there are no refunds. I explained the above to no avail. I requested the contact info to the CEO or anyone higher than the chat customer rep. I was told I could only contact chat, support or billing. I messaged the CEO on linked in. So far no response. This is outright theft. Since this happened. I uploaded my list to Mailchimp sent out a campaign. I had a very successful campaign. So not stale. I know mailchimp is a little expensive. But at least they do what they promise. Unlike GET RESPONSE. It should be called GETRIPPEDOFF. Oh, I paid $180 for nothing. Less than 12hrs no refund. Rejected email list. Take warning fully.     Signed up for the advertised "FREE" trial to execute a simple email campaign. After quite some time to navigate the account set-up, the Test emails all failed with none of our internal or external team receiving any email! I was told it was due to the "FREE" account limitations which was strange, but given the time crunch we had, we agreed to try the $15 program with a discount advertised. Although they advertised "24/7" customer support, no phone number is offered to speak with live customer support, only chat and email. Both chat and email resulted in more time wasted with only generic responses from chat representatives on initial communications not at all providing solutions to resolve the issues and no technical support ever received as promised. Given the failures and inability to deploy even a TEST successfully, I immediately tried to contact this company to cancel my account. It only got worse from there! This company charged my credit card over $200 (not $15 per month as pushed via email from their representative!) No email service was ever received as advertised, and not even a TEST deployed successfully! I contacted the company immediately for a refund 9 times and no response was ever received! After doing some research, I found numerous bad reviews and reports online about this foreign group and contacted my bank to notify them of the FRAUD tactics. This site needs to be shut down before more consumers are taken advantage of! BUYERS BEWARE OF THE FALSE ADVERTISING--STAY AWAY FROM GETRESPONSE.COM SITE AND DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR PAYMENT INFORMATION! Tip for consumers:DO NOT USE IT WHATSOEVER!     Not all autoresponders are definitely created equal. And GetResponse stands out exceptionally! It is very easy to use and even if you have problems, the live chat is right there at your service. The customer support and service is very polite and helpful as well. Also support is located directly in Canada and they have a good reputation. There are many other great features as well besides the autoresponder, like capture page builders and other services. A great price for a great service/product!
    This company literally stole FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS from me. Now my lawyer is involved as well as Bank of America. Like so many others that have left similar reviews, I got completely scammed by GR. First they rejected my 50,000+ contact list saying it was "old." My contact list, that I've spent 6 years building, was 100% fine. Then, upon sending my first campaign, ALL the emails went to spam.The told me my domain had to be integrated with them. So my IT guys did that. Second email, all went to spam-again. BOOM they terminated my account because of my failed open rate. WTF!? This has caused a complete meltdown with my marketing, and has been an absolute tragedy financially. My customer service email is blowing up because my customers are wondering where the hell my weekly sale campaigns are. GR REFUSED to refund me a dime. That's right- paid them for an entire year up front of over $4k, sent 2 emails that all went to spam, and they shut me down via one email from their pathetic "compliance team." BTW- all communications will come at 2 or 3am as they are definitely NOT in the US...don't be fooled. Customer service? Not even a little bit.     BEWARE! DO NOT USE GET RESPONSE, and here's why. Note, we are about to enter a lawsuit with getresponse cause they are attempting to continue to charge us $2000 EVEN AFTER we canceled 2 months ago but thats not even the worst of it... We used getresponse for about 2-months before realizing we had to call it quits. We spent thousands of dollars in time and lost email potential migrating to getresponse after rising costs of mailchimp. The getresponse offer was storage of 1.5million contacts for $2,000/month, (way lower than their advertised cost.) Cheap right? WRONG. As good of a rate is, it doesn't matter if your open rate sucks. Our OPEN rate went from 10%-20% on mailchimp down to less than 3%. It DOESN'T matter if they store 10million contacts for $2,000 per month, your list is literally useless if your emails go straight to SPAM. Imagine spending weeks migrating all your flows only to find out open rate is close to non-existent. The main reason we thought of migrating was to save costs on rising email list costs. This IS NOT what we found out. Your list will be stored on getresponse, but your contacts likely won't receive your emails. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO MOVE TO GETRESPONSE. Secondly, even after giving about a months notice to cancel our account, they are still attempting to bill our account $2000.00/month! We moved to klaviyo, and our open rates are close to 30% now.     Get Response is a really good CRM. It makes managing my e-mails and newsletters pretty easy. The ability to preview what my newsletters will look like via mobile is AWESOME! I love the analytics features. I find their training and FAQs very valuable. I also find the Customer Service team to be really helpful.
    GetResponse is by far the worst company GetResponse is by far the worst company Ive come across. They dont live up to their name. They sell the service of getting response but they are not responsive at all - especially when it comes to issues. They have very UNFAIR subscription policy that does not refund their customers. Example: subscription charged by GetResponse on June 1st for the whole month of June. But then, you dont want that service anymore. After they charged your card on June 1st, and you want to refund it after you found out that youve been charged and you dont want to continue their service, they will not entertain your request no matter how many emails you write to their support, message them on Facebook or elsewhere. Is it utterly unfair for a company to take your money for the service not provided but obviously this company doesnt think so. Daylight robbery! Totally unprofessional & unethical.
    I love the features of Get Response. The landing pages and forms are easy to use and implement. It is one of the only list managers that you can turn off the opt-in verification so you can migrate your list to GR without having to put people through another "click here" email to get them onto your list, which they have most likely already done once and could be very annoying to have to do again. I just need to send out two newsletters to my list each week and be able to create landing pages and forms that convert. GR does all of this for me.

    I like the different forms and tools that Get Response has. Especially the Autoresponders, email pop ups, and the exit popup. These help us to gather new clients and retain current clients. I like that I am able to schedule when the emails go out - that way I can setup several emails and schedule them throughout the month.
    GetResponse is easy to use and simple to implement. Their system makes it simple for a small business owner to build a list, communicate effectively, and create sales opportunities. It's a great value for the features and support, and a good introduction to email marketing.
    I have been using get response for over two years. I really like the perfect timing feature that gets the email to the customer when they are most likely to open it. The ptice was good for our company. We were just getting into email marketing and the previous system we used was harder to set up and get going.
    There are two things that I find exceptional within' GetResponse. The first thing is the fact that there is 24/7 LIVE CHAT! That means WHENEVER I can't figure something out, can't find something, have a random question, need help, ANYTHING - all I have to do is click on the live chat tab at the bottom left of the page and BOOM! I have a live representative at my fingertips to help within' 5 seconds! No waiting! The second thing that I love are the features available withinthe Newsletter creation process! There are tons of templates, but even with just a blank, PLAIN, template, once you go in to create your actual newsletter, there are so many user friendly, EASY, ways to create a beautiful newsletter with drag & drop features! :)
    I was using constant contact as our email marketing solution for years but it was becoming too expensive. I tried out Getresponse and what I didn't like was the lack of customizable options compared to constant contact. If you need to really change the look of your email, then I do not think this is the best option. What I did like about getresponse was that had inbox preview. You can see what the email will look like using different emails like gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc. Price is good if you have a very high volume. For us we went back to constant contact.
