    I purchase a helicopter for my nephew for Christmas. One of the blades was broken and it would not fly. They told me I have to pay shipping to return the item which is as much as I paid for it. I will never purchase anything from them again. Horrible customer service for a broken toy. Tip for consumers:Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with when purchasing a gift. Products used:None, it was broken so could not use it

    I placed order for Christmas and provided an address for the gift and my home address for my credit card. The gift was sent to my office address and the order form reflected my office address for my credit card. Both addresses were not provided and were wrong. I knew I should always use Amazon whenever possible and this is one of those reasons.

    First time ordering from hobbytron and I ordered OVER the phone! Great customer service from a guy named Froy! I called back 4 days later to check on my 2 hoverboards and I again received great customer service and info on my packages! They arrived today (early), charged and ready to ride! Thank you Hobbytron for taking care of us! -Texas mom who knows nothing about hoverboards:-)
    My niece bought the flying sonic toy for my son. Within one minute of flying the toy it broke! The machine was out of control and even when I pressed off on the remote the sonic kept spinning out of control and the wing broke into pieces that couldn't be fixed. She reached out to the company and they refuse to do anything about it! Spend your money elsewhere cause this company is terrible!

    Rma#LTK*******1297X Your crappy 24hr return policy should be more stressed. My kids Christmas gift arrived and upon opening it to wrap it up was then found broken from shipping. It's $#*!ty thing to tell your kid the gift is broken because of poor packaging for shipment. Then find out shopping will be $25 and not affordable to get a new replacement. I will never order from you again. I will make sure your company is reflected this way...
    Hobby tron is the best place to get airsoft guns not only are there products great they also have great quality.
    Zero Stars - They are running a scam, bought a remote control helicopter. First flight on take off, cheap plastic gears blew apart as soon as I hit the switch. Product was terrible quality, not same as shown in picture, came from China. Abysmal customer service - won't answer your calls or return messages. Multiple complaints across the board, winded up eating the cost. Save yourself the trouble and heartache buy else where. PS - Don't buy into their self promoting reviews, they are fake as well.

    Everything on here is just so great
    First, I did not receive my complete order. But my credit card was charged for the complete order. Have been trying to reach HobbyTron by phone (left messages) and email, and FaceBook. No one has gotten back with me, even tried the "live Chat" does not work!. Second, one of the two items I did receive does not even work. I have never had this bad an experience with any retailer before, not sure how they stay in business.
    I bought a 150$ drone for my son for Christmas. First flight it fell apart. Customer service said fill out the return form. It's been 2 weeks and no response. I've called everyday for the past week and no answer. I believe they are a scam company. It's hard to tell your kid that we got ripped off and his drone is broken. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
    They should not be allowed to refuse customers' right to get their money back. If I only knew, I would have made my purchase simply from the Walmart instead of these people. They sell trash. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.
    I ordered a remote control car for my son for Christmas that was too advanced for him. It also didn't contain all the parts needed to operate (you have to buy them separately). Hobbytron would not return my order or even replace it with something appropriate for my son. My son was so disappointed on Christmas Day that he couldn't play with the car he got from Santa. Now we have to find a battery store that contains the batteries and charger for the car. They say they don't return items that have been opened but how do you know that the parts are parts you have to buy separately, until you open the car?
    I shop at HobbyTron regularly to fulfill mu hobby needs. I have experienced HT Customer Support several times and always reach a satisfactory resolution. IF you met the spirit of the policy, you will be refunded. First off its a HOBBY STORE not a toy store, Most RC products here are hobby grade and do require some handiwork to maintain and operate. EXPECT them to break when crashed, expect to buy spare parts and expect to research and tinker to keep your craft in operational condition. Even the TOY RC products are to intro the buyer into RC hobby and white RTF/RTG they will require care and maintenance., Hats when the fun starts... for most the thrill of crash and repair is just as fun as flying. Then you get into mods and upgrades. ALL items are FIXABLE and MODable.,. Just search others who mod and repair. Order Tips: Most ordering errors are self inflicted... DO read and UNDERSTAND before you finalize transaction. Look for all the coupies and enter the best. Be sure its accepted computes before buying. If you run into a problem, contact CS ASAP and BEFORE item ships. Also inspect upon arrival and check product package for dammage BEFORE OPENING. If its dammaged, call CS and they will advise on what to do. Again, do this before opening and only open if advised by support. Why the all fuss? Hobby Tron's greatest expense is from shipping and labor in packing product as product price competition is fierce for these imports. The large, delicate items require extra boxing and handling care. They have to be strict about returns and shipments to stay in business. Each time they move inventory it costs MORE than the parts acquisition cost. Profit is made on shipping volume. That's why they are strict on returns. There used to be a hobby store in every city but thanks to the internet this is the way of the industry now.
    Hobby Iron refuses to allow me to give feedback although I purchased 5 air craft from them. They refuse to pay for the return shipping even for craft that never flew?
    Ordered three hover boards. They arrived quickly, were priced well. Out of the box, one rattled but worked. One completely stopped working after about 2 hours of use by a 9 year old just learning how to balance, not rough at all. Emailed, no response. Called no less than 6 times, each time they promised to call back that day, never did. Did three RMAs for each hover board. One week later, still waiting response. In the mean time, our 9 year old how saved his own money for a while for his board has to watch everyone else ride. Still no idea on what they are going to do or when. When I have actually talked to a hobbytron employee (most of the time it was a "answering service" even during their posted business hours) they can't tell me anything other than to wait longer. I will never order from here again. All three boards have some sort of issue and I can't get any response or help from them. Price is not worth this horrible service so far. They haven't even committed to helping the kids out yet.

    Here is my limited experience: ordered a helicopter for my kid. Doesn't work. Return it. Replaced with another one. Doesn't work. Return it. I've now spent in shipping as much as the price. But I soldier on, order three items for Christmas a week out. Am guaranteed they'll be there. It is Christmas now in fact. They are not here. I have tried to reach them by email and phone for days.     My son spent his birthday money on an airsoft gun at Hobbytron.com-$175.00. The gun was broken when it arrived. They claim to have a 30 day return policy. I emailed them their required return authorization form after about a week. I didn't hear from them so I tried calling and was routed to a message center. They never returned my call. I used their customer service email and got nowhere with that. I filled out another return authorization form and still nothing. This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had by far. It seems Hobbytron is great at taking your or your children's money, but if there is a problem with your purchased item, they give you the run around or flat out ignore you. Save yourself a load of frustration and shop elsewhere. Tip for consumers:DON'T!!!!!!!! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
    My honest experience? Ordering a Hobbytron product "says" email confirmation will be sent. IF NOT, DON'T SAY YOU WILL! Nothing sent, no record of order. Being a dumbass after days of waiting for an email conf, I called Customer Service, they had no record (based on name, cc number, nothing)... so ordered the same product again. Guess what? I ended up with 2 of the same products with no recourse via Hobbytron's "NO RETURN" policies. I'm a web programmer, a conf email is not that hard folks! Worst yet, 0 response from Hobbytron Customer Service. Don't fall for Hobbytron's scam! Hobbytron's business model (i. E. ripping customers off) will only last so long.

    I bought a remote control air plane for my son for Christmas and when plane arrive the battery was dead on arrival. After some email back and forth I had to pay $15 to send the plane back for exchange, second plane arrived after one week and when my son opened it the motor was hanging from fuselage, I had to pay another $15 to ship the plane back and after another week we got the same plane back except the motor was tightened in. Finally we could go to park an try the plane, so we charge the battery and we had about 10 minutes flying time before we were back in the house to recharge the battery only to find out that battery does not take any charge. I sent an email to Hobbytron and asked them about the problem. When they got back to me after 5 days they said the warranty does not cover the battery since I charged it once, I was very disappointed and frustrated so I called them and talked to customer service and then to the manager but to no success, I paid $153 plus another $30 for shipping for this plane only because it came with 90 days warranty where I could buy it from Vortex for $95. So hobbytron sold me a worthless product with worthless warranty, Don't Be sucker like me and don"t buy from Hobbytrn. Hobbytrn has 244 Complaints against it on Consumer affair website, check it out before you make your decision.
