Was lied to, said the hotel I wanted to stay at was booked but it wasn't. Also over charged and I couldn't get my military discount. The bathroom had blood splatter on wall and mildew in shower. Won't ever use booking again.

Date of experience: December 7, 2024I needed a room with one day's notice, Thanksgiving Day/evening. I checked the website, found the hotel my friends were using, price seemed reasonable so I called to book. Alonzo did a fine job registering me for a room at twice the advertised price (not his fault) and assured me along the way that we'd each accomplished our goals. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. I recommend you keep him.
PS You don't leave enough time to leave the very long confirmation code. I'm not rewriting the review.

Everything was completed in less than 10 minutes and I am happy that I don't have to worry about hotel reservation for me and my pet.

Date of experience: November 25, 2024Joseph was very helpful in booking two hotels for me. One in Emporia, KS & one in Tucumcari, NM. He even found a better rate for me in Tucumcari at the Fays Inn. Joseph was respectful and joyful, I could tell he had a smile on his face & that came through to me. He will call me in March so we can make reservations for my return trip back to Minnesota. I like that he made sure I knew all the fees & sent my confirmations to me before our conversation was done. Excellent young man that I will be happy to do business with again!
Date of experience: November 30, 2024Looking on the Holiday Inn website for Royersford PA it quoted a AAA rate of $95 per night. When calling to book all of a sudden the rate was $105. You can't speak to the hotel itself, but to a booking service outside the USA. Then with all the fees my booking for 2 nights was $293 and change. $83 in extra fees for a 2 nights stay. Ridiculous! Otherwise, the booking agent was polite and efficient.
Date of experience: December 8, 2024Asked for federal perdiam rates. Was told I'd be charged that. Then I get a charge for $30 over federal rate. Call back, they don't honor federal rate. Basically a con artist. Canceled and was told I'd get a refund on my card, then get a notice that I'd get a "voucher" of some kind for 1/2 the hotel rate. Now I have to file a claim with my federal cc and deal with all of that mess. What a horrible experience.

Date of experience: November 19, 2024My flight got cancelled. It was rescheduled 3 hours later. It was too late for me to drive home in the dark.
So I needed a hotel. I thought I had booked it online before I boarded the airplane. I did not do it correctly. 2,1/2 hours later I called the hotel to make a reservation for that night. Grace was sssooo kind and helpful ensuring I had a quality room in which to spend the night. I had been traveling for over 13 hours today!

We're staying at the Wyndham-Baymont in Monterey Park. At my age (almost 81) I prefer make such reservations by phone rather than online. Your employee Mary handled the entire thing professionally, promptly and friendly. The It's a pleasure doing business with a company that gives such good service like Mary.

Date of experience: November 25, 2024Both the reservation manager and Kennelyn were patient and helpful. They never told me no it's not possible. They were extremely accommodating. Which tickled me pink! I booked through Booking.com and was worried I wouldn't get my money back. They worked with me and even made sure my new reservation on Nov 23 included handicap accommodations for my be Aunt.
I'm glad to know that a hotel that had been around since the 80s still had a strong reservation team. I'm looking forward to staying there to visit my aging parents. I am very grateful. Thank you

Date of experience: November 30, 2024I needed connecting rooms and was told I would absolutely get what I needed. Upon arriving the hotel had no connecting rooms and had my reservation in separate rooms. With 3 kids and my dog while be on crutches this was unacceptable. I ended up having to drive another 5 hours in intense pain with my children and dog because there were no other hotels available and ended up sleeping in our car when I couldn't take the pain anymore. I thought I called the hotel directly and then was lied to and this is as a disgrace.

We told you at booking we needed a hotel because our area lost power due to storm. You didn't tell us you didn't have power as well.
