    We made a digital purchase for Microsoft and NordVPN subscription. The digital product key didn't work so, we contacted Newegg immediately with screenshots. They refused to offer us any help or compensation. Told us to go check with Microsoft. It's not Microsoft's problem, they didn't sell this key to us! Even then, we contacted Microsoft and they said that the product key Newegg sold is fake. Newegg simply stopped replying and is not giving us a refund. Newegg basically scammed us with a fake key.     Newegg is my go-to for all my tech needs. I've purchased a number of items from them over the past several years, from monitors and keyboards to USB hubs, adapter cables, and even Bluetooth speakers. I've never had a negative experience with them; their prices are always fair, and the items always arrive in a timely manner with no issues.     Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...     Company scammed my wife out of 650$ of computer parts and components. She ordered 9 items, recieved 1. Box un opened, after contacting new egg, they blew it off for 2 months until we disputed the charge on our credit card. Avoid at all costs. Read reviews. They do this to hundreds and hundreds of people. It's not unheard of, please avoid doung business with them as you'll be left stolen from.     I ordered a computer mouse 07/26/2022. Shipping label was created 08/01/2022. Status still states waiting on pickup from carrier. I have no way of emailing them about this problem or asking for a refund. Will not buy from again. Total rip off and wasted money.     The platform is pro-seller and anti-buyer. I had an issue where the seller shipped a completely wrong item. Newegg sided with seller and denied my claim. Thanks Heavens that I had Paypal and my Visa credit card in between and they are still working on the case. The outcome is awaited but overall, Newegg did not own any responsibility and closed the case as such. Despite of me having provided with all relevant pictures (right of the time item was received).     I've bought three laptops from Newegg, and I really regret it. Two of the three were defective to such a degree that, after running diagnostics, the manufacturers told me to send it back for a replacement and not even bother trying to get it repaired. At this point I am suspicious that they just take refurbished or factory reject computers and sell them as "new". In any case, this is not a business to be trusted. If you do buy something from them, make sure to test your product thoroughly before the window for return closes to make sure they didn't sell you a defective item.     I guess they no longer want me as a customer. When I go to the site, I get a message saying that it looks like an automated program. Well, it isn't. So, I guess I'll be finding a new Go-To for my electronic needs. Plenty out there, no need to deal with people who purposefully make things difficult.     My daughter purchased computer parts from Newegg. We were out of town when it came as it arrived earlier than the time specified. UPS returned to item to Newegg and I have documentation that it was returned. However, Newegg refuses to give us a refund of the money or send us the items. Multiple calls have been made. Initially they said they would send the item, but after multiple calls told my daughter no. I called thinking they were not helping this 18 year old who had spent her graduation money on a computer she so desperately needs to have for an engineering major, but no they said they never received all of the parts back. I have proof from UPS and I told them I could provide but they tell me the same thing each time. So we are out almost 2 K for a computer we could not build. Lousy customer support. They really don't care at all about customer service. I would not recommend this company and heaven help you if you need customer support. Tip for consumers:Do not buy from them.     Bought some pc parts and it said shipped all of the items and once I got one of the product, they added a new tracking number for the others that will come another week later. Very misleading, if I knew they were going to pull something like that, I would have of just purchased at Amazon and get it the same week with prime.     Newegg sent wrong items (funny how nobody ever gets shipped a nicer item than they paid for). Charged me the full amount and sent 5 of the complete wrong item. These are big and in clearly labeled boxes. I dont understand how anybody could get this wrong. Now I have to take care of shipping back to them and they wont process return until they receive items.     Be aware that returns are not easy. In addition, they deduct all the shipping, taxes, etc. and you still have to pay return shipping. The shipping is over priced.     I'm never ordering from these guys again. I received a non-functioning product, so naturally I try to return this item. Originally I wanted to exchange for another, but noticed it is now out of stock. So then I go through the return process. I get my shipping label no problem, and send it off within a few days. When they received my return I got no notification whatsoever ever from Newegg. The only reason why I know they even received it is because I'm tracking it myself with UPS. It has now been NINE days since they received my return and no refund still. I find this unacceptable for this kind of business. They have lost any business they were going to receive from me and I will highly recommend anyone I know and care about to never do business with Newegg either.     They false advertise their non refundable products then when you realize it's not the product you wanted they throw their no refund policy in your face and make it look like it was your fault. Edit: I noticed a lot of ppl here had problems w customer service. I spoke w the Cust Serv representative (RJ) and his supervisor (Vin) for over an hour.     I bought a mechanical keyboard with confident because of the iron egg guarantee, but when i tried to claim they just email me saying "no" without reasons, when it's clearly cheaper on amazon.com and other websites.     Package was lost between warehouse and supplier! Still had to wait 12 days before I could file a claim, and now am still waiting 17 days later with no progress being made on the claim and no information offered. Asking for a refund would forfeit the $78 for shipping (cause supposedly shipping was paid). Extremely unhappy with Newegg and would recommend to use at own risk. If you see a product elsewhere, even if its $100 more, think to yourself whether the price difference is worth waiting >4 weeks for, with no guarantee of delivery at all. Customer service is nice, if only for the fact they can stand all the dissatisfaction they are faced. They can't provide anymore information than they receive themselves. A lot of platitudes are given but do little to help in the matter. Tip for consumers:Avoid, or use at own risk. Other sites, whilst more expensive, can only be more reliable than this site. $100 is not a big difference after waiting 4 weeks for a delivery and no ETA is ever given.     A hacker ordered stuff from my new egg account. I was able to act quickly and cancel all items except a 99 cents gaming code. New Egg would not refund. Instead they want me to go to my bank which would result in my credit card being reissued. This is a huge unnecessary hassle given that my credit card info was not exposed. This just shows how petty and small minded New Egg is. They don't care about their customers and everything is your problem. Suffice it to say they have forever lost a customer over 99 cents. New Egg should really think about using more of Amazon's customer service practices if they want to build their business. Trust and perception are everything online. So lame to throw that away.     Newegg has some special deals that are great. But if you have a problem of ANY kind be prepared for a never ending nightmare.
