Total scam! I've been ordering from Ali for over 6 years and they've taken a complete nosedive! They used to protect their buyers but now AliExpress has become the scammer. "Choice" items are protected and guaranteed, fast shipping, refund in 30 days if no delivery. I placed a $200 order, all Choice items, It's been nearly 45 days and still no order yet they refuse to refund me! No idea where my package is! Choice items are guaranteed by AliExpress, not the seller. They've become just as fraudulent as the scam artists they host! The photo below is just one of MANY, since you have to file a claim per item and I ordered LOADS. They are not stuck in customs. On their site it says awaiting flight. USPS says the tracking # is expired?!?

Date of experience: January 6, 2025The seller authorized a refund weeks ago because my Order ID: ************** was lost at an airport with no tracking updates since November 9th! AliExpress is going out of business & no longer issues refunds or delivers orders! AS well, they no longer have a customer service department!
Tip for consumers:AliExpress are theives that do not honor their own refund policy and they have no customer service anylonger, they are going banckrupt!

My address was correct on their website. Nobody helps when calling in and each time another excuse is given. No refund issued and item never received. DO NOT ORDER! SCAMMERS

Date of experience: January 15, 2025Ordered Birdstock Home Adjustable Memory Foam Floor Chair. Used two days, gears locked or broke. When trying to check, zipper completely broke off. Reported to AliExpress, sent return label, but only refunded half saying chair still had some value. No value to me, no longer have chair. I appealed twice, no way of knowing appeal is legit, can't see in system. Both times, came back with same reply all while hiding behind their this mailbox cannot accept replies scripted emails. They kept half my money and the chair. Found out AliExpress does not sell name brand products, all Knock Offs. Buyer Beware. Online service reps lead you to believe you are so important, they love you, are on your side, will ensure you get a satisfactory resolution, mwah, mwah, mwah. Right. You have to repeat things already shared, will ask for additional pictures when you no longer have item. In my case, thieves.

Date of experience: January 16, 2025I ordered a piece of furniture from AliExpress that was never delivered. I have had no luck being reimbursed. The tracking number for FedEx I was informed went to a different address and receiver but they couldn't provide me with that private information. The missing shipment weighed 17lbs, a far cry from my 143lb bookshelf that I paid for. Please do not be another victim of AliExpress or Alibaba which I was informed are the same.
Tip for consumers:At first the shipper was stated as DHL. That tracking number didn’t exist with DHL. Fed Ex had the tracking number but I was told it was delivered to a different address and receiver.
Products used:My bookshelf was never delivered and I have not been able to get a refund.

How do you send a 4500KW Generator from China for $20? I have contacted AliExpress several times but they just reply quote, Following our internal review, we regret to inform you that the appeal is not established. The reason is that the reported product/content does not violate platform regulations.
IS THIS HOW ALIEXPRESS PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS?
Date of experience: January 30, 2025ALI EXPRESS DID NOT CARE THAT YODEL DELIVERED MY GOODS TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! So I NEVER received them! Steer clear of this terrible company with ZERO consumer service! After my complaint ALIEXPRESS asked me to go over the whole process again BUT AS YODEL has closed the case (having shown me the photo of the wrong doorway where they mistakenly delivered my parcel to) it's up to AliExpress to go back to the carrier (yodel)! I've been around and around and AliExpress WON'T TAKE RESPONSIIBILITY. Do not trust AliExpress - they've bombarded me with emails when I already confirmed that we've asked the neighbourhood WhatsApp group and no one received it PLUS the doorway Yodel showed me looks NOTHING like our neighbourhood!

Ive been scammed 12 times by them they have done me over on 12 different orders anything decent u order doesnt come but the $#*! stuff does and it takes about 2 months for ur money to be returned after weeks of phone calls and headaches them saying stuff got delivered that didnt refusing refunds over and over then after uv contacted delivery company and argued a couple more weeks they say they issued my refunds and 11 days later still waiting been 2 monrhs now

Two defective items were delivered, and while the seller was cooperative and agreed to issue a 20% refund, AliExpress has completely dropped the ball.
The seller confirmed that the refund was processed and is being held by AliExpress. Despite this, AliExpress customer service has repeatedly insisted the refund cannot be issued until the items are returned—a nonsensical response since the seller had already agreed otherwise.
I contacted AliExpress multiple times via chat and email, providing all necessary details and wasting hours of my time. Each interaction was met with robotic, unhelpful responses that clearly showed they didn't even bother to understand the issue.
To make matters worse, after all my efforts, AliExpress still refuses to process the refund, even though the seller complied with the agreement. This level of incompetence is mind-blowing and incredibly frustrating.
If this is the level of support AliExpress provides, I strongly recommend avoiding this platform altogether. They clearly do not value their customers' time, nor are they capable of resolving even straightforward issues.

I received a 2 Ct. Stone, but had ordered and paid a 3 Ct. Stone. I claimed this from the very beginning. But as there is no Institute around every corner, I just had the opportunity to get my claim officially certified about two weeks later. Pus I paid the analysis and new certificate from my own pocket. Finally, even when I proved that the product was not as described, my claim was turned down and my appeal declined. So clearly no help from the so called "AE_customerservice", they rather do not protect the customers and instead do cover up and protect the fraudulent seller. Be aware: there is no help for you at AliExpress! The fraudulent sellers name is: "moissanite store". So, beware of those crooks and never ever buy there!
Now they respond: "... we have processed your refund on Jan. 26th 2025. " That is a joke. I spend 300 on a certificate and 1671 on the product that I did not want or ordered. Now I have to agree to 468 or get nothing. This is violation of internet shopping. This is just a mafia. Be aware and do not order. Just pay a bit more at eBay or Lazada and be safe. I ´m f...d now. Don´t let this happen to You.

Date of experience: January 1, 2025Without a doubt the worst online retail platform in the world, there are so many scammers meaning you buy at great risk of not receiving your purchase, their dispute team will do everything in their power to prevent a refund or to protect the consumer, their automatic response is to respond with your claim is invalid, when you do achieve a successful claim, you are forced to return the item at exorbitant shipping cost whis the seller will refuse to cover, and on this AliExpress WILL NOT HELP YOU, you will be on your own and WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY, stay away from them and deal with the online retailers that do sell the same product with real actual customer protection.

Date of experience: January 5, 2025Used to be better. AliExpress used to be cheap and reliable, but importantly they used to have good customer service. It's trash now. Customer service just cannot be bothered. Sellers will ship out random items, you can't dispute anything as they will show "evidence" of having shipped it, it doesn't matter whether the item is correct or wrong, it doesn't matter if it never arrives, even when I have CCTV footage showing the supposed "delivery" attempt was never made, they will always rule against the customer. It's been a hassle trying to dispute or get my money back, I've had numerous complaints through PayPal with lots of documentation showing stuff arriving damaged, never arriving, wrong items, defective items, etc, and each time it's like pulling teeth to get my money back. I am waiting for my last few orders to close and I'm never using it again. I'm just going to shop at the local 100 yen stores now.
Edit: Lol. Fake sincerity is not going to help. I still have 2 orders that never arrived. 1 is in dispute and your customer support has placed it on "wait for it to deliver", although the item tracking has not moved in ONE WHOLE MONTH. Just because you replied to this review doesn't mean much since I recently spent 2 months on a case that never closed (the other order that ALSO NEVER CAME); it is still ongoing on PayPal and has now escalated to my bank. I have produced a pdf documenting the most painstaking case thus far, and don't worry, it will be public soon on every review site. :) Your customer support has been appalling, and please do not placate me with "we want to help"; I have given Aliexpress plenty of chances to fix it, possibly around 6 times, before I got so frustrated I told your customer service rep off for being ridiculously st*pid. In each case, I've gone back several rounds. You wasted so much of my time, so I will throw in some extra time (consider it a revenge bonus) to share this ordeal everywhere.
Tip for consumers:Just don't use it. Aliexpress is awful now. After my orders close, I will not use them anymore. The customer service is so bad that it does not matter how much evidence you present; they will ignore you anyway. I even got bloody CCTV footage, and they tell me that "it is delivered". It's just absurd.
