    The shipment is currently late, for more than 24 hours is out for delivery and no more news, it was mentioned that it wa sent first time to a wrong recipient.     Their tag line is security is of utmost importance but when my parcel got stolen from community mailbox, no one took responsibility to investigate and issue refund. Instead I was told go to police and report it. Not sure how efficient the mail delivery agents are, I have doubts if the mailbox was left open. Date of experience: January 24, 2024
    Called Canada post customer service line to find out about options for oversized packages delivery. The person on the phone didn't know the answer. After my request to talk to the supervisor I was asked all kind of personal questions which had nothing to do with a regular call about services they provide.     Such a worst service i have ever experienced is with canada post. There was no option for 0 rating. You guys are terrible. I shipped my luggage within canada and they lost it and they took more than 2 months to investigate it because Canada post is full of careless workers. They are not responsible with their job. My luggage cost more than *******$ and they send me a cheque of 100$ which i think i should appreciate them for this amount thank you so much. Please everyone don't trust these bull$#*! guys.     It cost me $21.90 to have tea mailed to my mother a mere 3hr drive away. Yes, that's their standard shipping. NEVER again.     If I could rate Canada post a zero I would. I've ordered online from multiple sites and paid for express canada post. I'm now waiting on yet another delivery which will end up being 7 full business days if it arrives when estimated. Has happened many times sometimes up to 10 days for express mail. Maybe there will be more options to choose different delivery services online if people speak up when ordering for a non Canada post option. I do. Poor service paid for.     They don't deserve any star. My traveling suitcase was shipped from Germany and when it got to Canada it was stolen and to make things worst all the stickers which were supposed to be on the suitcase were remove and place on an empty box and delivered to me. When i tried following up they told me my complaint should be against DHL in Germany because it was shipped from Germany.     I had ordered a jacket to be delivered by Canada Post. The tracking information showed it arrived in my city and was out for delivery... And then was never delivered. The tracking has not updated in 10 days now. I filed a claim for an item not delivered a week ago, and just received a notice from Canada Post that they don't know what happened to the package, and it is lost. How can this be?! How does a large package just disappear and cannot be found, even when it is being tracked?! I have experienced this with Canada Post in the past, so this isn't even the first time. It just astounds me that that this can happen. I cannot emphasize enough how much I do not recommend Canada Post, and how disappointed I am in our national mail system. Terrible.     This is by far the worst delivery service you could ever ask for. They know they're one of the only options and pair that with the worst customer service you could ever ask for. Now I can understand a bit of confusion and misplacing items around the holidays but this is unacceptable. My parcel was supposed to be here on a Thursday right after Christmas and it was shipped to a whole city over, an hour and a half away. Next day, they put it on the wrong truck as it's out for delivery. The day after, Nothing happened at all they just decided to leave it in the facility. Now today (sunday, new years eve) item was processed and NOT sent out for delivery. Now I will not be getting my mother's Christmas gifts until long after the holidays. Not until after the new year.     I paid around $100 for mail forwarding when I moved. I just received forwarded mail from 3 unknown addresses none of which were mine. I typed up a note explaining and pushed it back through my condo mail box. The letter carrier told the condo secretary to inform me to put in the condos outgoing mail slot in which you can barely fit a regular size envelope. I know where I would like the 3 catalogue size envelopes which contained a magazine or multi page documents to fit. CP are international recognized as one of the worst.     I've been using their business account for about 10 years, and I've finally dropped them! I had a package sent to Trenton Air Force base, biggest in Canada, and they could not find it!     I've used CanadaPost a few times to ship something to my boyfriend in the states and no problems until now. My parcel was supposed to get to on July 20,2022 but it never showed up. They said it be there Friday and still nothing. Now they posted its delayed yet last mth I sent him something no problem. We both think someone stole it since the value was high.     Delivery not guaranteed if you live in an apartment (confirmed by agent). The drivers are not obliged to find your buzzer code or contact you if they cannot enter inside your building. FORGET if you need to sign something, they won't even bothering trying to deliver that package. Instead they'll send it to a post office which means to earliest is next day at a random post office location. 1. You don't get your package. 2. you have to wait another day on top of that to retrieve your package at a far location. So, so the question is why... why does anyone bother with this service if you live in an apartment. I truly don't know. Every other delivery company ensures your package is delivered unless the driver had tried everything. Suggestion to every: if you can pay extra for another delivery service, do yourself a service and go with another company. This ones shockingly terrible and absolutely no benefits.     So frustrating. They always give expected delivery date, but the package will not be deliver on that day. Its always 2 or 3 days delay. Even if you paid extra for express shipping.     I've been waiting on a parcel since August of 2021. Because tracking number has been lost they can't do anything to find my package that has items over $300...     I took an express service from BC to QC, it's been 3 month since and not yet delivered. This never happen with amazon, fedex or dhl.     I'll make this quick. Canada Post is an incompetent, presumptuous, self-proclaimed private company that provides such bad customer service and products that there is no way they exist anymore without government help. They charge for thin air and then they take your property and throw it in the garbage when you don't comply with their backwards policies which literally no other company on the continent observes. Please please please do not use Canada Post anymore, we need to have a viable alternative. Update: I found out their incompetent joke of a delivery person lied about the address issue.     Honestly I've never had such a bad experience with a delivery service. Took weeks to get here from the states and then was delayed an hours drive from me at the post office for 3 days.     Canada Post has totally gone downhill. I can't believe how their customer service rep treat customers. Everything is also automated and sorting mail and it's done incorrectly.     I had a lot of errands to run today, (Remembrance Day) and Canada Post is one of the stops. It was closed. It is in the service industry so why do they close on Sundays and public holidays? While other establishments are open - grocery stores, airlines, buses, hospitals, fire stations, etc., Canada Post considers itself privileged to enjoy down time.
