I ordered 2 porcelain mugs online on 10/4. They were sale items. The order info stated they would be delivered by 10/7. I called a CB2 store to check on the reliability of the delivery date as the order was for a birthday gift on 10/8. Not a problem I was told. It will be there. Well it's not here and not anticipated to be here until 10/9. So, I heartily recommend that you think twice before parting with your money. Oh - and by the way apparently I can't get my money back until I actually receive the items - pay for the re-delivery to their warehouse and wait God knows how long for a refund check. Great customer experience

Date of experience: October 7, 2023Ordered an expensive dining table in May. When i ordered they did say August. So I waited and waited. NOTHING from the company. It is October 1st- I had to beg to speak with someone and now they are telling me the product is made to order and made in Vietnam and will be here mid-late October. I won't have it then either. There is no reason this table should not have been here by now. I am requesting a manager call me. Beyond frustrated!

They will never give you a refune and will not stand behind their products. One of the rugs sheds and I can't breath at night - nope, we won't take it back. Couch is off by 3" - thats normal! Do your self a favor and buy better quality furniture for real furniture retailers.

Upfront cash collection to keep their company with ton of cash while they forever postpone beyond already late delivery dates on the website. Purchased 5 different items. Ended up cancelling one by one as they continuously delayed it. Just pray it will arrive one day

Date of experience: October 25, 2022I ordered an item that was on sale and chose to pick it up instead of having it delivered (for the same price as the item). After waiting one month to pick it up, I received an apology. Email the night before letting me know that my item is no longer in stock. This is a common scam that I only expected from Neiman Marcus, but CB2 seems to be playing the game now. Not letting me know until the night before delivery, after making me wait over a month, that my item is no longer in stock is terrible service. I received a stupid apology email and a stupid $30 store credit that does nothing to make up for this inconvenience. I'm done ordering from this company.

Date of experience: October 2, 2022Horrible customer service, ignorant managers! The manager's name is Matthew Meyters. He has no customer interaction or skills. He thinks that he is working at a produce bazaar and selling tomatoes. I have no clue; how high-quality furniture store is keeping people like him within their team. Because of one person, I am returning all the furniture that I have purchased and never ever buy anything from there.
Date of experience: March 12, 2022I purchased an $800 coffee table in May, scheduled to be delivered in July. I finally received it in the first week of October 2022. It is completely damaged and unassembled. The movers said that I had to schedule the return, and now I am told it would not be picked up for a week. That is right, they sold me damaged goods that I needed to store for a week. They also will not refund my $$ till they pick it up. Has anyone offered a solution? NO. It is my responsibility to take care of CB2's trash they sell as furniture.

My wife ordered a pillow (order *******) at the sale price of $49.95. She was charged $79+ which was the non sale price. When the pillow didn't arrive on the promised date of 10/31, all the above team failed to respond to this problem until Marlene ordered a replacement and requested that the warehouse address the delivery as a priority. She adjusted the price to the sale price after falsely claiming that my wife placed the order before the sale started. She said this was all she could do.
I have spent the good part of my day working on this and I still do not know when or if it will be delivered and the only compensation for my troubles is getting the price we intended to get in the first place.
I think a further credit is appropriate for the hassle relating to this order.

Date of experience: November 1, 2023I went to the store and placed an order for a sectional explained that I only wanted in stock options. I spant over $5000 on my couch. After not hearing anything for several days i checked the status and found out that there was a 6 month delay with no warnings or phone calls. Do not order if you have any timeline!

Date of experience: April 26, 2023I purchased 2 chairs from CB2. One was delivered from the warehouse and one from the showroom. The one which was delivered from the showroom had some noise. I visited the shop and inform them about the noise. They sent their representative to check. The guy confirmed the frame is broken and asked me to put in his report that I want a replacement! After that I haven't heard back from them so I had to follow up again and to my surprise the customer service agent informed me that it is misusage of the item and they do not wish to do anything for it. I visited the shop several times and discussed with them but they are refusing to provide any solution. When their QC visited to check the chair they did some test that made the noise worst.
I asked them regardless of why it is damaged they must offer a solution to fix the issue because I cannot use the chair.
They just keep on saying it is the misusage and they cannot do anything about it!

Date of experience: April 19, 2023Delayed bed delivery, due to them selling half of our bed to another customer. Then received the order 2 months after original purchase and bed is defective and poorly made. The technicians sent to install the bed by CB2 took 3 hours to install a bed. Having to drill new holes and cut open new spaces for the frame to fit. Screws were missing and the list goes on. Their offer was a 15% rebate with no possibility of an applicable warranty nor replacement parts as the bed is suddenly discontinued. So our other option was to return, for which a refund will only be issued 14 days after they receive the bed once taken apart and picked up by CB2 technicians.

Then changed to early December then to mid December then to late December now we get an email saying Mid January. They've had our $6500 for months and no delivery for FIVE months. Whoever is managing production there needs to be fired.

Obviously CB2 is not training their people. This is a colossal waste and unnecessary imposition on the environment.

Emailed company and a day later they asked via email for my feedback regarding the phone conversation I had with their employee Myasha from Jamaica. Huh? No one called me let alone did I have a convo. Sent another email. Received a reply back answering a question I never even asked. Shady as anything. Ended up having to dispute purchase with my credit card company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM SITE.

I received an email with tracking info (much later than promised) but the nothing was ever sent out. A tracking number search showed FEDEX had never gotten the package. I called CB2 on multiple occasions and it was impossible to get through to anyone - I even left my number in their call-back system but no one contacted me. Unacceptable.

A month later still have not received item that was in stock. 1 hour on hold on phone, text messages ignored, emails ignored. Last time I purchase from them and cut my losses on $75 item not received. Too bad as they have good products.
Date of experience: September 17, 2020Lies, lies, lies... I placed an order of 6000 USD on the CB2 website, makings sure that everything I selected was in stock. I have been planning this purchase for several days.
All the products I had in my cart where in stock and are showing as "In stock and ready to ship" at this very moment on the public product page.
During checkout, I checked multiple times for the delivery dates, and everything said it would be delivered in April.
I complete the order, and then get an email suddenly listing all my items as "Out of stock" expected in 6 months...
I first thought this was a mistake, as even right now it says that all those items are in stock on the website. So I log into my account and check the order, and the majority of the items all say they would be delivered in 6 months.
I am currently talking to support, they already referred me to 5 different agents, all saying "We are sorry that the information shown is not correct, the system doesn't seem to be up to date".
Let me clarify this for you: The system is showing "Incorrect information" on the public product page. The one that customers see before they place an order.
Yet, on the "Order page" on the exact same website, the information is "Up to date" and it shows that none of the products that you just orders are in stock!
I made a collage showing screenshots of the product pages and the order pages of all these items to show what I mean.
This isn't a mistake, this is a complete scam!

I have purchased multiple pieces from CB2 and I am happy with the products once I receive them. The problem is receiving them. My last experience- I ordered something in stock, however CB2 doesn't have available delivery dates. After waiting for about 1.5 month for my delivery date( for an in stock item),my item was supposed to arrive today. I received multiple emails, texts, phone calls
To confirm delivery with the last one being at 7 am today. At 2 pm I received an email stating my item will not be delivered. When I contacted customer service I was told my item

Date of experience: December 23, 2022Tried to buy a picture frame. It was very poorly packaged and of course if arrived broken via USPS. Called customer service and they refused to authorize return with paid shipping. To ship the broken frame back would have cost $49, which is more than the cost of the frame. Just move on to another vendor. It isn't worth your effort to try and do business with CB2.
Date of experience: July 13, 2020I spent 3300 dollars on six items.
-first delivery four items were damaged. Two were put on the truck. Two were so big they remained in the house. Big mistake. They leave stuff in the house so they can get away with keeping your money and accusing YOU of damaging the furniture
-round two and they delivered two more damaged pieces.
-round three I had to arrange pickup of the first two damaged items and return two other items. Now they're trying to say I damaged something I did not. They deliberately delay the pickups by weeks so the liability is on you and so they can charge you for damage.
-I am now waiting for 3300 to be credited back (it has not been done). And I have none of their furniture in my house. My experiences with Anthropologie and west elm have been quite different.
-crooked, unscrupulous, and a waste of money and time. Do not use.

Brutal customer service... I wonder if anyone is actually going to get back to me...

Not sure if they're going out of business or just out of stock... either way... get your furniture elsewhere if you actually need the furniture.
