I bought a pair of pants that didn't fit and was told by the sales associate who made my purchase that they didn't do returns just exchanges and store credit. But these pants are poorly manufactured with the lining in the waist and hip leg area and placement of buttons on the pants. One legs of the pants has more room than the other due to the poor sewing quality. I should have read the store reviews before making a purchase. I'll be donating these pants. Glad they were only $14.

Date of experience: October 30, 2021Ever since they closed down and re opened, the clothing in there is cheap looking and the poorest of quality. Very non trendy! It's pure house/ Lounge clothing! Please bring back the originals! Please! Look at the ratings! Do you guys even care? If not close down! Let it remain a phantom of our imagination of what was once was!

Date of experience: July 22, 2022I purchased 2 pairs of jeans a week ago. Tried them on at home due to fitting rooms still closed to Covid-19 (2 years ago). I took tags off and washed them. After washing them realized one pair had a hole just under the belt loop. The other seems alright still so as I put them on the whole zipper broke off! I went in about a week later (after purchase date) to explain what happened they said they can't return them at all cuz tags were taken off. I normally always buy my Jean from here but I will not be anymore. The lady upfront was rude and didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience just look at me with a blank face till I walked away.
Tip for consumers:Jeans are bad quality easily breakable to holes and broken zippers!

Date of experience: April 2, 2022I visited this store a few times last several months, purchased nothing. Their is nothing in this store worth buying except some cheap Tee shirt. All the cloths are low end quality, no selection, poor inventory, no refunds, dressing room just opened last week. Some how this store survived the Covid pandemic.Mt advice don't waste your time walking in to this store, you cant return unless it's an exchange theirs nothing else to buy, poor inventory choices.

I love this dress! Its super cute! It was only USD $ 7.20. I am busty so I ordered a large. I like the fit, its stretchy so I could possibly have gone with a medium. The brand is Wet Seal.
This was my first time ordering so I did get a discount. Very, very happy!

However, I am disappointed to know that the district manager allows the store manager to work alone. Although she is a friendly and compassionate person, it is evident that she works tirelessly and could benefit from additional support. The reason I put 5 stars is because I really like the store manager.

Shout out to Selena and Priscilla that makes this happen! Keep up the good work guys! By the way music in the store was awesome! I will definitely come back!

Date of experience: October 24, 2021Very rude trying to put somthing back on a hanger and being questioned what I'm doing in a rude way and making me feel like I can't try anything on and very rude at the cash register telling me to read stuff correctly thinking I don't have enough money which I did and I had plenty of stuff in my hands and she made me try to put away instead of giving it to her and had a really rude tone. She judged me from the start thinking I don't have enough money.

Date of experience: March 5, 2023I really like this store specifically for crop tops/tops, dresses, underwear, sandals, and jewelry. Been using this site for the last few years and never had any issues except the occasional out of stock product which has always been refunded.
They always seem to be having different sales/promotions going on.
I've spent anywhere between 6$ (with free shipping) and 100$ on a single order with no problems at all.

Date of experience: December 9, 2016I have ordered from Charlotte Russe online twice now and am pretty pleased with their service. My most recent order was for one pair of plus size, jean, cutoff shorts - Refugee, I think. I ordered them one size up, just in case the shorts ran a little small. I received them today, cute, good fit, a little loose, not to short in length. Four stars due to how long it takes to receive one, in-stock item, that is my only compliant at this point.
Date of experience: March 25, 2017I'm in the same boat with everyone who tried to order a package and have it arrive before 12/24. Now it's 2017 and my package was never even brought to Fedex. I've called their customer support over 3 times already, emailed them multiple times, and yet they refuse to cancel and refund my order. So my word of advice is to dispute the charge with your credit card company. This falls under the categories 'merchandise never received' or 'service not as expected'. Never ordering online from here again after this nightmare.
Tip for consumers:Save yourself the trouble and go to an actual store in-person to buy these clothes.

Date of experience: January 3, 2017I've been ordering online from Charlotte Russe for the past 5 years or so and they use to be great but past 2-3 months, online ordering has been horrible. One of my orders took a full 2 weeks to even get shipped out after emailing them twice about it. And their response both times was so generic I don't even think they read my email, just the subject line. Two times I've gotten emails about 8 days later saying my items are now out of stock. Why would it take that long to notify me? Now my current order that I placed Nov 25 and it's Dec 5 and still nothing about it being shipped. They've definitely changed something about how they handle online orders it was never this bad, nor do I have any of these problems with any of the other stores I order from. This is definitely the LAST time I will be buying anything from this company!
Date of experience: December 5, 2016Charlotte Russe used to be nice, but now with the new management, it has fallen to pieces. I spent over $100 and was not made aware of their new return policy. If you buy it online, you must return it via mail. Oh and if the item you purchased is less than $6.95, even if you're sending back $50 worth of product, they won't accept it. The customer service team really does take 2+ days to respond to one email, and they never answer your questions directly so there's always still confusion. Then you email them again and have to wait another 2+ days. I would never recommend shopping here anymore. Half the clothes I ordered were cute and fit well and the other half were terrible.

I know my card is fine. I tried to call customer service only for the phone number to be disconnected! What? So I email them, and it says will respond in 1 business day, it's been 4 and nothing. I wrote them again and nothing. They obviously do not care about thier customers. No use going to the store either because thier plus size section is literally that, a section. It's a small corner in the back with horrible selection. It's obvious what kind of customers they cater too. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

WHAT has happened to this company?! I was missing an item from my order so after days of being on hold with customer service their response was literally, "I don't know what to do." how about refund my money?! They said they would email me a form to fill out to get my money refunded OR be charged again for the missing item then be refunded "later on". Seriously. BEWARE. Also, with my order I received a random pair of boots I didn't even order. Sigh.

The customer service is useless and claims to have no contact with their shipping or return warehouses - which, perhaps that's the case, but that doesn't improve my overall feeling for how they do business.
Date of experience: April 5, 2017Very bad customer service. This girl named Jackie was really rude and unprofessional. That's why she will always work where she works for $10 or less. No good company will tolerate how she talk to customers. They cheated me, they charged me three separate $6.99 shipping for three items that I returned in the same return box. This makes no sense at all. I was told a manager was going to call 24-48 hrs, no one ever called. Charlotte Russe has the worst customer service. I will make sure everybody that I know never shop there.
Date of experience: July 1, 2017Charlotte Russe is usually my go to shopping store. Recently, I've ordered 6 dresses and 6 sandals on their buy 1 get 1 $12.50 deal. When I got these items, they didn't give me the right dress and the dress they did give me was very ugly. All except for one of the dresses either was too small or too big and I ordered them all in medium. With the shoes, same situation. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase but I'll still shop at Charlotte Russe because I love their jeans, jackets, and dressy tops. I learned my lesson with ordering dresses online and I recommend that anyone who does order online, make sure you know your size in certain garments

I have noticed they have changed their styles significantly recently and I am not a fan of their new stuff. I recently placed a very large order online and out of the 14 items I got, I am returning 13 of them! I am not that picky when it comes to clothes, but everything was see-through and fit poorly, despite being my size. The dresses and skirts are WAY too short. I am 5'3" and a size small and every dress and skirt I tried on completely showed my butt if I bent over even slightly. I have been an extremely loyal customer for years and I can tell you that their clothes did not used to be like that. It makes me so mad because I absolutely adored this store and now I can't find a thing that fits right and isn't see-through. I am done shopping at CR for good.
Date of experience: August 16, 2017Do not shop from them ever. I've never experienced such a bad order as I did right now. Ordered two boots from their website, one regular price and one for $8. I was happy with one of them but the other arrived stained and with the right boot completely missing a buckle. I called, expecting to get the return these and get an undamaged pair. Nope. She said I could return these, get back $8, and put in a new order for them at the current price of $45. What on earth? First of all, they send out damaged products and then they dont even attempt to fix them? I'll be returning both pairs as soon as possible (in the store or else I have to pay for shipping for the undamaged ones) and never shopping there ever again. A pity since I always liked their physical stores.
Date of experience: November 6, 2014I ordered some clothes online recently. I got them when they were expected to arrive, in the right size and color, and without anything damaged. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars. The problem that I have with CR is that the clothes are very flimsy and they clearly charge far more than the garments are worth. There are no reviews on the site, which is very shady to me. It's clear as to why, because one of the items I ordered is shaped so strangely I'm not sure who it would fit. I ordered 3 items, two of which I considered returning, but decided against because it sounds like it would be more trouble than it's worth. I am disappointed in the experience to say the least, and I can't even leave a bad review under the items I didn't like.
Tip for consumers:Do not order online. The return policy is basically nonexistent, the clothes are not good quality, especially for the price, and there are tons of negative reviews about customer service, sizing, and shipping.
