    Tigerdirect: Ordered from this website a few days ago (MBA/IPAD PRO) and today they cancelled the order without notification. Funds are still showing on CC as unreturned. It appears TD is in the business of cancelling orders that we place and keeping our money. Fraudulent business practices.
    DONT SHOP HERE! My complaint is literally the same complaint I'm seeing on other review sites- it used to be reputable but not anymore. Bought an IPad, they cancelled without notice- said it's because they put the wrong price up and didn't want to honor it-dozens of other reviews say it's to collect data and spam and sell to others.     This is not the first time I have ordered from TigerDirect the products that I have ordered in the past have been great. So I expecting the same quality of products from this order and I'm sure they will last me another 10 years or so like the last ones with only a few upgrades here and there to keep up with the growing technology.     Ordered 2 iPads and the order got cancelled after 2 days without any information. They just have cancelled the order and it disappeared from the orders history. I only could see that has been cancelled because I had the page opened, but after refreshing just disappeared. They did not refund my card, they are still with my money.     I just placed an order for a CPU that said "in stock." When the order showed up on the web page, it said "back ordered" with no fulfillment date. Then I discovered that there is no way to cancel the order online. You have to email customer service. Oh, and they already charged my credit card.     I have been doing business with Tiger Direct, on and off, since 2008. All of my interactions with them have been positive. They offer a lot of computer-related products at reasonable prices. Honestly, not as good of deals like Amazon or Newegg, but still pretty good. They have sales and promotions running all the time, so you might find a nice deal on something you are looking for or maybe even make some impulse buys. The website is modern and laid out very well. Navigation and page loading speeds are both excellent. You can sign up for their newsletter to stay informed on all of their deals and promotions. For the most part, their shipping costs are reasonable and the time it takes to get your items is pretty quick. On the customer service side, I have had a great experiences in the few times or so that I have had to contact them about a problem or inquiry. They helped me out in a very satisfactory manner. Whether you are a casual or hardcore PC builder/enthusiast, Tiger Direct is a good option to satisfy your computing needs.     They want 15% restocking fee to return an item I purchased a week ago plus I pay for shipping. I never saw this published anywhere on their site. Although I'm unhappy to pay this I said ok, lets get this going. Customer support keeps saying they have to get this approved that I will hear back in 24 hours, that was five days ago. TigerDirect is a BOBO company, spend a few dollars more and have piece of mind, I got cheap and this is what you get. Stay away... please!     With a large number of online stores I would recommend buying from somewhere else. Corporate customer. Due to some scheduling conflicts and people out of the office we decided a product wasn't right for us and tried to make a return 41 days after the order date when the return policy was 30 days and were flatly denied. Even though we only had the product in hand for 30 days it was not honored. We shall be purchasing from somewhere else with a longer return policy moving forward.     Don't ever do business with Tiger Direct. Period. This is the very first time I've ever attempted purchasing an item from them and I requested a refund shortly after reading some online reviews and I am only receiving my money back after about 25 phone calls 3 different service associates and over 4 weeks of fighting it. They were the opposite of helpful and they also tried charging me a restocking fee for an item that I never even saw in the box. Don't EVER trust them even if the item you need is at a discounted price. Not worth your time. They had $700 sitting in their account and the item for the last month and I still don't have the money and won't until tomorrow.
    Only order from TigerDirect if you do not care if or when you ever receive your order. They used to be great, but apparently they cannot compete with Amazon, Walmart, others. A week has passed and they still have no idea why they haven't shipped my order. This was the one time I strayed from Amazon... never again. Tip for consumers:If you don't care if/when you receive your items, go with TigerDirect. But their phone number does not work, and they don't answer you on social media.     Placed an order for IPAD 10th gen with a great advitised price. The order was cancelled the next day! TD, if you want to be a legit seller, that is not the way you deal with customers.     They had an amazing deal on ipads that I couldn't believe was real. It turns out it wasn't. They just posted them cheap so deal websites would direct buyers to them so they could get you to signup for emails and then they'd cancel your order two days later.     Ordered this PC and got an email confirming the order. However, when I checked on the order status later I found that it had already been cancelled. Did not get any notification of the cancellation. When i called customer service, the first one told me to just wait and the second told me the inventory was gone. On the website it seems there has been no update and you can still order. Really terrible way to run a business and makes the company look sketchy.     I have ordered refurbished PC from this agency. Computer works good, but was missing Wi-Fi adapter. Emailed customer service, took them 2 days to respond.     I purchased a WD Wireless Pro from them because they were the only online store showing it in stock. Then I received a notice it was on back order. It finally shipped and I received it mid-April. It was dead out of the box. I let them know and dealt with WD directly and it was confirmed to be defective. I told TigerDirect and said I wanted a refund. They requested the email chain with WD which I provided within 24 hours. Then they stopped responding. I filed a complaint with PayPal where they waited until the last moment to respond and finally agreed to let me return it. Tracking shows they received it yesterday so hopefully next week (6 weeks after receiving a defective product) I should get my refund. They used to be good back in the day but I will never buy from them again. Tip for consumers:Don’t do it. Products used:None.     I used to get great deals from tiger direct. I recommend them to all my friends. A month ago I ordered my kid a computer that was listed "in stock". It was the only thing I could afford my 12 year old this year. The week before Christmas I started trying to contact tiger direct. They have not shipped the item, or gave me a time when they expect it may be back in stock. Immediately after I paid for it, they said it was on back order. They have a hold on my money, so I could not buy him a gift from somewhere else. I have sent 7 emails, with no response. I have tried to call, and never got anyone. They still send me emails telling me to buy the same computer I ordered, that they will not send me. I will be reporting them to the bbb on Thursday. Do not give tiger direct your money. You may get ripped off like me.
    While the prices are great, I can't comment on the product quality as I haven't received it yet. Lost by the shipper. But when I called to check on this, that's when things went south. The first call ended abruptly when I expressed my displeasure at them not using the carrier I requested (I was firm, not yelling), they hung up on me. Second call ended when I asked to speak to a manager. Third call ended when I asked to speak to someone who spoke English as a native language. 4th call was dropped after they connected me to FedEx. They should have at least stayed on the line to verify that the package was being found. I have to say, I will NEVER but another item from Tiger Direct.     Purchased 3 laptops for my business on Thursday, paid for expedited 2-Day Air shipping. Checked the order the following Tuesday and the hadn't even processed my payment. I spoke with Christopher, operator #7102 and he doesn't get customer service... at all. I tried to have them sent next day air and he kept re-explaining my problem without apology or solution. After I requested to speak with a supervisor, he placed on a permanent hold. Likely the first and last time I will be buying from them.
    I called Tiger direct and gave them my printer's model number and they helped me purchase 3 ink cartridges. Upon receipt, I knew right away that they were not the right cartridges. I called them right away and they told me that I will have to call HP and that Tiger Direct could not help me. HP decline any sort of return or exchange and told me to call Tiger back which I did. It took a lot of holding, hang ups and lying to finally accept the returns. I had to pay for shipping, of course, and several weeks later, nothing. I had to call, email, stay on hold forever and finally was told that I will get a refund minus 20% restocking fee. I was ok with that. I finally got refund for 2 cartridges instead of 3. I had to call back and got transferred to 4 different representatives, 3 of them extremely rude and demeaning and assured me that I got all my money and needed to check with my bank. They told me it was my bank's mistake. After calling the fourth time today, I was told that they escalated the matter and finally got my last piece of the refund and they were "very sorry for the misunderstanding". Never gain and I don't believe anyone should beg and hold this long for their fair request of refund which was their own fault to start with.     If I can put lest rating I will, I buy a computer, didn't come as I request,( Was dirty and broken) I didn't even use, same day I receive I call to return, take a while to receive email back from them, i keep calling customer service, NO help, finally after calling almost every day they send me the order to return, I shipped back now it is more than two month I don't have my refund. STAY AWAY FROM TIGGERDIRECT. I am still waiting for my refund
