    Deeply disappointed with Fandango—bought tickets, but the movie shown was entirely different from what was advertised. The manager recommended contacting Fandango, emphasizing it was their issue.     I spoke to Steve the customer service supervisor and he would not refund our money for a movie that did not state it was in another language. Highly disappointed in fandango and I will never purchase from them again. We had purchased 4 tickets
    If I could do a zero star rating, I would! This company is a fraud and should be investigated! I filed a complaint with BBB but the case was closed without any resolution. They claimed that my gift cards were expired when I tried to use them which was not true! They refused to replace or issue new gift cards for the ones I was unable to use.     I purchased tickets through this site, and unfortunately I had an emergency come up that night so I couldn't make the movies. Weeks after remembering the tickets I tried several times to redeem and change the movie and couldn't I tried calling and speaking with reps but after holding on the phone for 45 mins I gave up. I learned today that tickets that I purchased couldn't be redeemed or refunded. Its better just to purchase your movie tickets from the actual theater and cheaper.     I purchased tickets, had an unexpected conflict, I tried to call to change/refund my tickets, the phone line hung up on me twice so I had to wait until after the show time to attempt to resolve my issue. They refuse to refund or exchange my tickets. I'm stuck with the $78 charge.
    So I've trying to get in contact with corporate bam. A friend who works for Fandango haven ot to me. Yes they are located in New York, Orlando, California and Colorado *******243 I finally found corporates number.
    Purchased tickets through Fandago to a theater 1 hour away because the movie wasn't playing in our area. Upon arrival, we were told that the movie was not at the theater and that it never was! The theater staff was super kind and refunded us our money. We were told other movie goers looking for the movie, were also turned away for the same reason.     When I traveled to Portland, I purchased two tickets on fandango, in advanced. While on a tour, I found out that I wouldn't be able to make the show, so I went on the app to cancel for fandango credits for a later movie show. The Problem was that the connectivity in the mountains and although I thought I cancelled the show. I also was able to email the fandango support site in trying to cancel the show, with the response email to cancel the show through the app. Anyways when I looked back into the app I felt that I cancelled the show because it didn't appear in the My tickets' section. I thought I cancelled the show. Apparently it didn't and after the show time ended I started to receive email alerts stating how did I enjoy the show. I then contacted directly a fandango phone support person who listened to my story and told me that I have a great case since he seen I tried to cancel the movie earlier before the show started through email and app contacts. But he could only relay it to the next level of support. Anyways a couple of days later, I receive a response that states a refund can't be done since they didn't receive the cancellation before the show started and the movie chain (Regal) does not give refunds after the show started. I contacted the Regal theatres and they stated that they could've given me my refund if I ordered the tickets directly through them since they would be able to see that I didn't go to the show, but since I purchased through fandango they can't give me a refund. So I learned my lesson that it's better to order tickets directly from the movie chain website. I gave 2 stars because the app looks good.     We tried to purchase movie tickets with three different Fandango gift cards. None of the card ID numbers were recognized, so they denied the purchase. I complained to the point-of-purchase retailer who apologized, reimbursed the value of the card, and told me that they receive more complaints on Fandango cards than any others.

    Once you purchase the tickets you cannot get a refund if you cannot attend. The theater will not help you or support your booking through Fandango. Very frustrating!     Paid the $7 shipping charges and waited... the package arrived with water damage. Essentially ruining the poster, I've contacted them 3 times and each time I get an auto response saying "Your question has not been submitted yet" and then gives me links to check my gift card balance and donations?     When I print my ticket confirmation it prints 4 pages instead of one. This is unnecessary and wasteful.
    On 03:22/24 before the movie started I called Fandango to get a refund on one of four tickets that I erroneously purchased. When I called and by the time the person answered it was a few minutes before the movie had started. After I explained the situation to Veronica and she looked me up after putting me on hold it was 7:00, the time the movie was scheduled to start. When she got back to me she told me that she could not reimburse me because "the movie had started". I explained that the movie had not started and it was showing previews. I hoped the Fandango representative would understand the mistake made when the extra ticket was purchased but she did not. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after a few minutes on hold, I explained the situation and he "put me on hold", only to hang up on me. I called back and asked to speak to Zack (supervisor) and I was transferred to him only for him to tell me that he could not refund me "as the movie had started". I hoped that Fandango would understand the innocent mistake, but instead they chose to rip customers off. I am not buying any more tickets from Fandango anymore and do yourself a favor and avoid any problems by buying your tickets directly from the theater itself.
    Service. Long story short, I couldn't make the movie, my kid got sick. I attempted several times to cancel/get a refund PRIOR to the start of the movie. Fandango kept refusing my login. It allowed me to login to the regular part of the site, but when I had to submit my email address/conf #, it kept saying my info was invalid. What a sham! The show started eventually and the Fandango said, we can't refund you because the show started….crooks. I opened a case against them with the BBB. In case you haven't realized from their low review score already, let me confirm…DO NOT USE FANDANGO!

    Had a similar issue of multiple charges to my account. I panicked after reading reviews on this site and others about them refusing refunds. Especially since it was the next day. I was on hold for an extremely long time- over an hour and a half. Within this time I explored disputing the charge with my bank and other options. Got a hold of a customer rep- explained the situation to her and she got me a refund on all the duplicate orders without issue. Was shocked when the emails came through that they would be processing a full refund. So maybe I just got lucky?
    I was trying to buy tickets to Cinemark Dayton to see Nepoleon on 11/24/23 at 10:30. Fandango popped up and allowed me to purchase 3 tickets for 42 dollars and some change. I then needed to change my time to the 6:45 show. Fandango was unable to find the same venue. I was able to get my money placed onto a Fandango account that I will probably never be able to use, however, when I just asked to have my money refunded they Saud that they were unable to do that. Do not use Fandango. They are not a legitimate site. I am out almost 43 dollars that is in a Fandango account that is now basically useless to me.     Fandango is a crook! I bought tickets for my whole family. Not a small cost! I selected the theater and movie I wanted, when I checked out without any notification it switched theaters on me. Knowing that I had selected the theater I had no reason to suspect it would have changed. The day of the movie arrived, we showed up at the intended theater, and when we scanned the tickets we were told it was the incorrect theater. After talking to customer service at the theater, then customer service at the Purchased theater we were told we had to contact Fandango directly, which we did. All of this took some time and by the time we got to a customer service person at Fandango it was past the movie start time so they wouldn't refund the money. Our entire family had to leave the theater and lose all of the money. Even after emailing multiple times, explain the situation they would not even give me any credit. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would've been willing to spend the money with Fandango simply by having some credit given, but they couldn't even do that. I am extremely disappointed and will never use Fandango again!     "On the evening of October 31 my wife, grandson and I went to attend the 7:30 pm showing of "Killers of the Flower Moon" at the AMC La Jolla 12 theatre. Attempting to locate our seats we found them to be inaccessible for me to safely navigate with my walker. Returning to the ticket counter we were told they would gladly refund our tickets even though the showing had begun. Attempting to issue the refund he found that, since the tickets were purchased through Fandango, I would have to call you. Upon arriving home I contacted Fandango and was very nicely told that she was not authorized to make the refund, but would forward my request to be evaluated. I was truly shocked when I received Fandango's refusal to refund the tickets. To think that a company as large and supposedly as reputable as Fandango could not make an exception to accommodate a handicapped individual is appalling.     Fandango is a terrible company. They changed the date of my preordered movie tickets without telling me and then wouldn't allow me to exchange or get refunded for my tickets when I stated one ticket holder wouldn't be able to go on the reselected date.     I had sawed I purchased tickets for the wrong date which was August 3 2023 I met to purchase them for the August 4 2023 ask to exchange it.     I will never use fandango again. They say that you can reschedule or refund your ticket if needed but do not have a website that works or service you can get ahold of. Whether chat or phone or website. They told me it was after showtime although I tried all platforms for two hours prior with screen shots. Total scam. Don't bother using them.
