Rented a car for my father, paid for it, put down that my dad was coming for the car. Once dad arrived they did not allow him to take his rental because he didn't have the credit card with his name on the rental. Which I filled out who was to come get it. Had a horrible experience figuring it all out. Where all they could do was cancel our rental. This is a waste of time for me and my dad to purchase and have him go through this stupid situation. Not renting from them again!I returned the car on time but they invoiced me for an additional 3 days plus late fees. Customer service has been terrible and no one has responded back except for an email to give me back 1 day since I told them I wasn't even in the State on the day they say I returned the car. I asked them to check the video to see I returned it on time. They said no telephone was available at the counter so they would have to send an email to the San Jose office to confirm. I haven't heard back. This has doubled my bill! Tip for consumers:Don't use them. They will over charge you, blame you and then not help you at all. This is an organized group of trained people, whose aim is to deceive you and steal your money For the second time in a row, we fell again into this defrauding company Fox rental a car robbed us money and there IS NO WAY to get in contact with anyone: customer service Email, Face book, Websites, call center,…. (they actively use the technique of Ignore, avoid and Denial) FACTS: Upon arrival the employee Mr Michael said: "I will make you an offer, you cannot refuse" Given we had previously been defrauded in February 2020 at the Miami "Airport" station( by an employee who forced us to add an insurance we never asked or needed, case officially reported to the station and on the social media) - we answered " NO". But then he added: "you should trust me, If you return the car empty, it costs you only 3US$ to refuel the car. After returning it with some fuel, we were (obviously) charged for the whole missing fuel. There has been no WAY to get in contact with the scammer Michal, his office manager and the management of the company in general, neither on the day, nor later (5 months later still) As a consequence we have reported these repeated sales fraud techniques to the BBB and to the respective authorities. Remember, that FOX being cheap, means YOU WILL PAY the difference (with interest) in phone calls, nerves and a lot of time wasted, after the rental This is the worst scamming company ever met in USA Short note on reaching the station: When you land at the airport, there is NO Fox car rental. You need to wait for a bus at least 20 minutes, drive additional 20 minutes to a station. Still this is NOT where FOX is: you need to wait for a SECOND bus (no air conditioning and no social distancing so to better spread COV19) and after a journey in 120F, you get to their third world location. Tip for consumers:just NEVER EVER RENT WITH THEM Service Value Returns QualityAbsolutely terrible. Worst online experience I have ever had. Booked a car and then needed to change pick up time more than 24 hours in advance which is says you can do... Except the website would not allow it and waiting on hold on multiple calls for over 4 hours because we kept getting disconnected was not enjoyable. Only to be told there is nothing they can do. If we don't pick up the car within 3 hours our reservation and deposit is gone. Never again will I use these guys.If you want a company that gives you phone numbers that hang up on you. The quality of there customer service is the PITS. You can't even reach Roadside Assistance. The number I called I was on hold for 25 minutes only to be hung up on several times. Roadside Assistance keeps you on hold for 22 minutes God Forbid you needed someone right away. Renter Beware.HorribleI flew into Vegas and hopped the bus like everyone else to find that I had to take another bus that goes to Fox Rental Cars out a ways from the rest of the rental companies. When I arrived I had to stand on a line for nearly one hour. When it came my turn the vehicle I had reserved a few months back, they had none. You then went outside and stood on another line that took two hours only to find that they had nothing that came close so they gave me a chevy traverse suburban which is much longer in length, it was hard finding a space and when I parked, it was harder backing up without a camera. The following day I took it back and they gave me a Jeep Liberty which was hard steering and noisy road sound inside, I brought that back the following day and they finally gave me the vehicle I had originally requested. I will say that the manager tried to do the right thing, but standing on a line for 1 hour and then standing outside on another line for 2 hours is just not worth the money you save because when you have to leave you have to return the vehicle then jump on Fox bus and then jump on to the bus that takes you to the airport, is it worth it, NO. I will never do this again, oh, and by the way I am in a motorized chair and it makes it much harder to get around because all the rest have already arrived and I am still catching up, so I am last. No problem, my turn does come. Many and I say many of the people on line were really pissed off and you could hear them saying this will never happen again. Bye bye for now. Stuart S.
