Holiday Inn Review
Our family took a long trip from Asia to France. Last stop is Holiday Inn Toulouse Airport. (We haven't used the Holiday Inn Express).
It is a very nice hotel, very good price, polite staff, nice free shuttle to Airport, and convenient tram and M (underground) half hour to city centre. My sons liked very much their free and strong WiFi!
We asked for connected rooms and we got it.
The only problem is that their printed sheet on travel info to City Centre does not provide exact info--added with verbal interpretation by counter staff (about one day Pass, saying that one Pass for family, but actually it should be per person... and about Single Trip fees per person... etc). Likely due to poor English interpretation. Should improve on this.

Date of experience: August 21, 2014My husband and I stay at the Holiday Inn Toronto-Yorkdale several times a year, usually for a week at a time. The level of customer service could not be better- absolutely everyone on staff is terrific. We enjoy the food in the restaurant and they have many vegetarian options which is important for us. I have to repeat how awesome the level of service is- this is the hospitality business at it's best.
Date of experience: September 14, 2017Holiday inn waterville maine day staff and manager very rude got a late checkout for a meeting the women barged in room while wife was changing and said checkout time and didnt care that we was asked if wanted a late checkout and long haired manager was just as rude so our late checkout only was 15 mins later and then they over billed me 85$ for two sodas
Date of experience: June 24, 2019I recently made a reservation at a holiday inn in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, while I was traveling to the hotel, the weather turned bad and there were severe thunderstorms with lightning and thunder. I had to cancel the reservation and stay at a different hotel in the area I was when the weather got bad. Holiday inn refused You issue me a refund for this booking because it is a non-refundable reservation. I feel this is unfair since the weather is out of anyone's control and they should understand that. I would stay at any other hotel regardless of the cost.
Date of experience: May 6, 2017Good prices and high level of service. I stay at the Holiday Inn whenever I travel. I went to a Holiday Inn Suites while in Boston and the rooms were outstanding. I went to New York with my twin sons and wife and got a suite. Fantastic and safe.
Date of experience: September 12, 2016There was an occasion being celebrated by my friend and I so we choose to do it at the Holiday Inn Toronto yorkdale. I was very surprised and satisfied at the same time, with the level of service that this hotel offers. We were treated like family by management and staff, even the executive Chef came out and wanted to know if the meal was enjoyable. The hostess was Shelly and she made it happen. Her service was excellent and not just with us but to other quest as well. I wouldn't hesitate going back to the Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale. With confidence I would recommend anyone to that Hotel where they give the royal treatment, and by the way endless shopping is just across the street. I said yes for there hospitality.

Parking was $10. / night, yet the guard let people he knew( opening the gate) in for free on Fri and Sat nights to go swimming. Ran out of toilet paper, had to use your kleenex. Cheap when I need not be. Over $100/ night, give us a friggin break.

Date of experience: September 21, 2015I booked a room at holiday inn bloomington illinois the rate was$174.95 They turn$260. Telling me this is a Recovery fee and taxes. This almost doubles the price found it on hotels dot com and Booking dot com cheaper. I called less than an hour later, and they tried to charge me at twenty five % cancelations fee. The website does not disclose this price. And I didn't even see it till my credit card receipt came through. Then I couldn't even call the hotel. I had to call a special 800 number where the people had no clue what they were doing. I'm waiting to see if they refund myimani if not obviously I will take care of the charges through my credit card. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had and I would never recommend anybody ever staying here.
Date of experience: October 10, 2023My family drove 3 hrs for a disappointing vacation. I made reservations 3 months early to stay at 16th st. Location. When we got there, I was told there was no room and we would have to stay on 66th location. I was so upset! My brother who is mentally handicapped needed to stay at 16th st. Because he was familiar with the area and could enjoy the boardwalk... on 66th st, he was limited to when he could be driven down. He doesn't have alot to look forward to and now, he's pretty much stuck in the hotel room... when we get to our room on 66th st... they gave us the first floor... there is a stupid fake boardwalk where people are gaulking in my room... some decide to rest on my patio. I had to keep the curtains closed. Whenever people opened their sliding doors... it was loud... sounded like thunder. This was the worst hotel I have ever been in... and we should have been on 16th street.
Date of experience: September 26, 2016Holiday Inn Express 1715 plaza ln Allentown pa******* my husband and I called the Holiday Inn express ans explained that another hotel turned 3 teenage girls away and pretty much didn't care if they had to sleep in their car, the lady at the holiday Inn became concerned. She immediately said they absolutely could stay there. All we had to do was give a credit card and take FULL responsibility for anything that happened to the room. The lady at the Super 8 by Wyndam(cockrach) hotel in Allentown didn't care and was not letting them stay there! Thank you Holiday Inn. Your staff were amazing wirh us and the girls felt safe when they were greater with your friendly, compassionate staff. Truly appreciative.

River the room was very nice, maid service was excellent and the breakfast was very well done. If you are planning a trip to Charleston SC I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS HOTEL.
Date of experience: May 3, 2014Don't stay at the Holiday Day Inn. It is a toxic work environment. They only hire Jamaicans and if you are not Jamaican they gang up on you. They take all the sheets so you can't make your beds, they give you the worst rooms again so it takes you more time to finish your room (thus making it appear you are slow). They don't check to see if things are working (I. E. fridge needs defrosting, lights burnt out) Again, you then have to call down to maintenance so again they won't clear you that the room is done. Lastly, the linen is badly stained yet they say they have a standard and you can't use stained sheets so again you waste time running back and forth to the cart trying to find a sheet that is acceptable (none are). Also the King beds don't have proper sheets to fit the bed so you can properly make the bed. Basically, they set you up for failure unless you are Jamaican. Holiday Inn at Dixon Road in Toronto keep your job, you are not a luxury hotel. The bath tubs are disgusting need to be all re done. Let your supervisor, Vanessa in housekeeping know that she doesn't own the property, she just works there and that all she can do is supervise dirty linens as well as her buddy Kattia from HTA 75.
Tip for consumers:Don't stay at the Holdiay Inn the linens are dirty, they don't change the duvets after there has been a guest that was not clean. The rooms smell they don't take them out of order to air them out. Trainer from HTA 75 Kattia is lazy tells people don't have to wash out the tub as well as prejudice. It is common knowledge in the black community that Jamaicans don't like other blacks. Yes, Kattia aren't you lucky that my country allows you to be here. You are a guest in my country!
