They have done what many many websites have done, and added so many bells and whistles to their service that you almost have to be a Computer Scientist to use the site anymore. Worse, when you try to contact them about this, they of course direct you to read their FAQ page, which is generally unhelpful on a grand scale. Also, after contacting them 3 times, the contact form no longer will send, so you get 3 strikes and you are out! When I tried to scroll down below my zip code to enter the correct city, there was no way to do this. All there was there was "save." So, incorrect info is shown. Then I attempted to enter my adjunct teaching position at a community college, and the site refuses to allow me to enter it! Its default is "Technical Education Teacher," when in reality it is English as a Second Language Instructor. I then tried to click on "Contact Us" to unsubscribe and have all my info removed, there was no way to do so. So here I am on a site with nothing correct about me and no way to get out of the site. So what do they do, use our info against us job seekers by sending scam mail? Furthermore, it shows medical jobs for me when I have no experience whatsoever in medial professions. They suckered me in with a promotion that was supposed to run for 30 days but canceled the ad after 1 -day. They also will auto-renew your ads and its extremely difficult to cancel. They provided a few Leeds. It was fairly simple experience. Fast forward to today and I found "Snag A Job" on a list of Job sites for Seniors (55+). I thought "good". My password still worked so I set about adding my Photo to my profile. OMG! It would not go in with the correct orientation! My picture would only lay on it's side. I tried to rotate the image and resubmit it only to have it end up laying on the other side. UUUggghh So I rotated my photo up-side-down. POOF, that it Took, no problem. When I went to update my resume I was not allowed to use the word "Wireman". That was the final straw. I was done. I am trying to get a job , not play games with a website. Value Quality Date of experience: May 23, 2022We contracted with PeopleMatter to handle onboarding of employees. The site promised a ton of features- but after several months, we reduced the service with them to just onboarding- many of the other features they said they were "working on" or great- just never cam to fruition or ever worked in the first place. We contacted them in March requesting a hold on our account so we could work through Covid- we have several restaurants. PeopleMatter offered a 1/2 month off. Thats it. We asked to suspend our account- they refused. We asked to terminate- but they said we were before our renewal date- but within 60 days- so they charged us for the entire year. We called, emailed many many times- when a person got back us- they said" what can I help you with"? They care clueless. We ended up terminating our account and will never go back. During this time PeopleMatter was purchased by Snag a JOb- another company having many poor reviews. These people suck.
