I called T Mobile to cancel my wireless internet and was instructed to return the tower to a T Mobile store. I returned the tower in June 2,2024 at T Mobile a Store with receipt. Contract was paid til June 20,2024. I kept receiving bills all the way to November- spoke with Martin on Oct 11,2024 and then to Ginger on Oct 14,2024. Both confirmed receipt and it was just a mistake and stated it will be taken care of. Now, I'm getting collection from Cobb Law- I have to explain all over again. T Mobile is really HORRIBLE!. WORST service! Do yourself a favor- Stay Away! Date of experience: February 11, 2025
Representative made a bad mistake on 01/10/25, it was immediately caught and forwarded to 2 unprofessional and unpleasant managers. They both admitted the Rep made an error, however blamed high call volume, and snow storm for the mistake. I been with T-mobil 20 years and I won't put up with this. I'm seeking a new carrier immediately. Tip for consumers:Horrible Customer Service Service Value Shipping Returns Quality Date of experience: January 10, 2025
Im disgusted and hate TMobile service and customer service. I attempted to use my bank to pay bill and discovered they disabled this. Forcefully trying to collect reconnect fees. Then being told one amount but trying to collect another increasing bill by at least $35. I'm livid me and my son don't have entertainment nor am i able to use internet to do schoolwork! I wouldn't dare recommend this $#*!ty $#*! phone company and will be terminating contract as they suck $#*!! Was only late because I came down with covid! Words cant express how infuriated i am. Not paying after this month and filing this bull$#*! company under bankruptcy! Tip for consumers:Yall wont be collecting reconnect fees nor dictate what $#*!ing payment method will be used Service Value Shipping Returns Quality Date of experience: January 17, 2025
I excepted an promotional offer with T-Mobile. After receiving the phone in the mail, took it to be activated in store so I thought. The same day my phone couldn't make a call. Wanted to keep my old number. Took it back to the store to correct the issue. Phone couldn't read the SIM card for some reason. Representative was told to replaced the SIM-card. This generated a new account. The promotion was not transferred to the new SIM card. Therefore T-Mobile tried to charge me for the phone I was issued under the promotion $280. They never contacted me about this issue. I received a letter from a collection agency for $104. Contacting customer service about this issue finally the matter was resolved but, then after paying my bill on time T-Mobile shut off my service without notice. I'm out of pocket $150 due to transferring to another company. As of January 2nd, 2025 with no/any refund in sight. Now I was gutted (3) different price to resolve the issue. $99/$104/ and $280. Which is it! A supervisor stated the only for me to resume service was to purchase another phone. They can't be serious. I made no or any mistake on my part to activate this phone, this issue was attempted by T-Mobile representative at the store. I praised T-Mobile for years and never had an issue with service or customer service. I'm extremely disappointed from start to finish. Date of experience: January 28, 2025
From April 21st 2024 to September 27th 2024 these clowns stole $4,000, then from January 26th 2025 to January 31st 2025 they stole $655.74. I tried to reach out to the ceo, and to the executive response team to be made fun of, and told they need a pdf of a bank statement when I use a CASH MONEY SERVICE. So anyways they stalked me looking for a bank or cash money service then started stealing money because I refuse to setup a autopay, plus they locked my account and everything on it because I refuse to pay them $131 53 for a 6th time. And yes tmobile really does this to disabled veterans. Products used:I left tmobile for Verizon Service Value Returns Quality Date of experience: January 27, 2025
If you go to T-mobile bring a jar of vasaline and a lawyer. Gave us 2 free phones under a promotion (after we traded in ours) worth almost $2000.00. They billed us and kept telling us it would go off at any time. After 5 months they said we didn't qualify so we would have to pay for the phones. They admitted they lied to us but that is the way it is. Contacted corporate they said the same thing. Yes we lied to you but that is just to bad. Switched to mint mobile no problems. Got a bill from tmobile showing they owe us $75.00 can't get it because 3 months later we can't remember the pin. They have all the info name, number, card # they collected on but that pin is GOD. Calling The State Attorney and see if they can help. Just a bunch of liers and thieves. Go to Mint Mobile, cheaper and better service. T-Mobile is ripping off customers. On August 03,2024 at 3:04PM, I retuned a device to T-Mobile using the UPS return label received from them(Obtained a drop-off receipt from UPS). For some reason, I realized 4 months later that they are charging me for the device. After reaching out to T-Mobile customer care, I was told that they no trace of the device and that I should figure it out with UPS. I called UPS customer service and was able to track the device down to T-Mobile warehouse. UPS confirmed that the device was delivered on August, 08 2024 at 2:40PM (With Records). Even though I have all the records that the device have been returned, T-Mobile, have decided that I should pay for the device. I am very frustrated by their resolution. I shouldn't have trusted them, I feel betrayed and rip-off by T-Mobile. People should avoid buying devices from them at all cost. T-MOBILE IS A SCAM AT THIS POINT. Date of experience: January 1, 2025
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear. Tip for consumers:Many phones but no more. Quality of products increasingly worse and service is sadly nonexistent. They lie to you and say whatever you want to hear to get you to sign up. Once they have you locked in they don't care about you. Sold me a phone that has done nothing but give me problems, only had for two months, one of their lying team told me I could return the phone and would be charged a re-stock fee. Now told no I have to pay off the phone before I can leave this nightmare of a company. On top of everything else getting into there website is mission impossible. Last month had to call just to pay. This month they went up on thier price per month. BEWARE OF T-MOBILE Products used:APPLE 14 Service Value Shipping Returns Quality Date of experience: November 9, 2024

We upgraded our phones to iphone 14. We sent our iphone 11's back to T-mobile with the understanding that we would receive a $200 credit for each phone. They sent us an INSURED UPS label, and I returned them to our UPS store. They made it from Vestal, NY to Syracuse, to Hazlet, TX. And then they vanished! According to UPS all they had was an empty box. They labeled the phones as "damaged'. Ergo, T-mobile would only give us $85 credit per phone. That raised our phone bill $1,152 over 24 months. Now, my thinking is, T-Mobile and UPS are "in bed" together. UPS keeps the phones, we get ripped off. When these phones are paid for, I will no longer deal with T-mobile. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FOR SHIPPING FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS. If I hadn't I'd have had nothing to prove I sent them back. Products used:We had to keep our current phones until they are paid off. I started with T-Mobile in December 2021, and up until November 2023 had no issues whatsoever. In November 2023 I moved to Canada from the USA and switched my phone services to Telus. Both Telus and myself contacted T-Mobile to have the accounts in the USA closed. I was given a final bill and paid that thinking everything was now done. Imagine my surprise almost a year later to see that T-Mobile was still helping itself to my bank account for a tune of $80.00 per month, with a total of just under $1000.00 US. I contacted T-Mobile and verified that the account was indeed closed mid-November and was told that it would take ten business days for them to respond. Three weeks later I called them as I had heard nothing and even though the evidence was there they offered to only credit me back two months. This was ridiculous and went up the ladder to a "supervisor" that told me the best they can refund my account was $320.00, and that I was LUCKY to get that! I contacted my bank to dispute this further but was stonewalled as T-Mobile assured the bank that the matter was dealt with to the best of their ability. In the end I was blamed by T-Mobile because I did not monitor my account properly. T-Mobile provided decent service as a mobile carrier, but having their own employees verify that they stole money and are only offering a fraction of that back was beyond anything I could have imagined. This was an expensive lesson to learn, and I urge EVERYONE to read the fine print and check your bank accounts regularly! Tip for consumers:Please check your bank accounts for fraudulent billing! T-mobile does false advertising. They had a promotional offer for their home internet, that if you add a t-mobile home internet, you'd receive a 50 inch 4k Amazon TV, valued at $450. I added t-mobile home internet, applied for the promotion, and was approved to receive the promotional offer, however, t-mobile did not send me the tv. After over 23 hours of phone conversations with different departments of t-mobile's customer service, the t-mobile agent only offered a $260 credit toward my account. I refused the $260 and asked for the tv that I was offered or the $450 value. And t-mobile refused my request. This is false advertising and t-mobile should know better and not treat their customers this way. They should honor what they promised, either the tv or the value of the promotion. Moved to area with better fiber service so canceled my plan with Tmobile. Mailed my hotspot back to them in original packaging and they claim it had damage of $80. That's nothing but wrong since it was working perfectly when mailed once again in the original packaging but of course I had to pay penalty. The T-Mobile store in Hermitage on Lebanon Rd are liars crooks and thieves The asst mgr Marcus is a lying thief who will tell any lie to get more money. Had the worst experience in 17 years of being a loyal customer T-Mobile customer service are the worst as soon as I pay my product off, which is very soon I'm switching to a company that T-Mobile has no affiliation with worst company I ever dealt with in my life and I only put one star up because it wouldn't let me go any further in this review without selecting a star, which is stupid and they need to change that to negative stars because that's what they deserve a negative star Date of experience: July 11, 2024
WARNING, WARNING, WARNING, DO NOT USE T-MOBILE! DO NOT USE T-MOBILE! I got the "free" phone last year and it was a cheap pos. I went back into the store and upgraded to a better phone and they offered me a "free" watch with only a $10 monthly line fee. I got the watch to use while driving (bc I have a stick shift). It drooped 95% of my calls. It was useless! I was told to call Customer Service and I could cancel the line. I called. Yep, I can cancel the line BUT now I have to pay $15 a month for a "FREE" watch I can't use! I wanted to pay off my "upgraded" phone and cancel my plan completely! I was told, IN ORDER TO CANCEL MY PLAN, I would have to pay for my upgraded phone, my "FREE" watch, AND my "FREE" phone to the tune of almost $1700! I am on a VERY limited income and I was trying to find a way to cut some of my expenses, but instead of T-mobile caring about their customers all they want to do is suck every penny from us they can! I offered to return all the "free" stuff, but they don't want it back. They just want money. I am STUCK with them (T-MOBILE) for 10 months! When my jail time is up, I WILL NEVER USE T-MOBILE AGAIN! I will post this on every social media platform I can and I will post it Tip for consumers:Nothing is free Service Value Shipping Returns Quality Date of experience: August 9, 2024
I recently went into the Auburn Branch very skeptical about switching Cell phone companies as I have been with my current carrier for several years. I was first met by Elijah at the counter who I found extremely pleasant and helpful in the research for my new phone. After a bit of confusion with a previous employee that dealt with my husband when we worked with his phone. I was ready to walk away but then Tammy was gracefully helpful in clearing up the confusion and helped in putting the deal together for my husband and my self on the new phone and hot spot. Thank you very much to both Tammy and Elijah for all of there help in making the switch very pleasant. They say they have my back as I wait on hold for 39 minutes and can't get through to anyone not even via instant chat which appears to be an option but never connects. I finally gave up. The store can't help me because they said we're still with Sprint, but the can sell me a new phone or upgrade my service. Quite frustrating and laughable. Thinking there's probably something out there better... Tip for consumers:Can't get any customer service via phone or in store. T-Mobile to soon require use of debit card only. No longer will they accept credit card starting in July 2023. This may lead to a change in carriers. I hope not. There has not been any problem in using my credit card in the last few years. Giving out back act info is also a deal breaker. What genius came up with this idea?
