I booked last week a flight from Singapore to Zurich. I haven't received (or honestly maybe not found) the travel confirmation. I am due to fly to Europe tomorrow so I contacted Zuji: By mail and chat. Mails I sent 2, chats I have been waiting for 25 minutes like a stupid in front of my laptop in case they respond. To both (mails and chats) no response. I give up! And never come back again.

No choice made 2nd booking yet there was a mistake on the sir name.
Requested for correction yet zuji wants to charge $70 admin fees & $69 airline fees.
I will never use zuji again.
Already spoilt the trip even before it started.
Why didn't zuji offer to compensate me when the 1st correct booking needs to be cancelled?
If it's not their mistake in the 1st place, a 2nd booking would not need to be raised. They didn't bother to show grace to a customer who haven't blame them when it was their mistake at 1st, yet can ruthlessly ask for $139 for sir name correction on 2nd booking. The most horrible flight booking experience I ever encountered.

Booked a flight to Toronto. Emailed saying they cant confirm. Received another email i have to pay another $1000. Why take my money if the flight is not guaranteed. There must be something to stop these middle man companies to take your money automatically after you make a booking, even though they cant secure the flight...
Absolutely misleading
Book flights directly from airlines, a few hundred doesn't hurt as much as waiting for responses or requests sent to Zuji.

Date of experience: December 29, 2016Booked a flight from Hong Kong to London ( ref *******) and had to change the dates due to a typing error. Sent emails to Zuji but received NO answer... rang Zuji and had to wait over an hour on the phone.
Explained what was needed and got told by the staff " well that will cost 1700 dollars" to change the dates ( flight still 9 days away)
Asked to cancel the flight... still 1500 dollars fee and told I must wait 16 to 18 weeks for the semi refund.
Needless to say I and the rest of our company will never be using Zuji again
Rebooked on the airline carrier web page and got the flight for 300 dollars cheaper!
Do your self a favor and stay away from these middle men crooks liars and thieves!
Date of experience: February 2, 2018I booked a car rental through Zuji and there was no mention of cancellation fee, however, when I cancelled on the same day, they deducted $260 for cancellation. You only see this cancellation fee after you booked and when they confirm the booking. A ridiculous company, trying to make little money off you.
Date of experience: January 9, 2017I guess is too late when i saw so many BAD review here. I want to share my bad experience here.Don't book them. I had made booing Singapore to Maldives, when i made booking completed it show different date and charged me the travel insurance, i called them within 15mins, customer services not so friendly, told me that cannot amend the date need to charge extra fees, either cancel my flight with extra charge. Thankfully is 1 day different and can cancel the insurance which i never select when i booking.
One month later, i called to check if i can cancel my booking, No, No refundable. OMG. Which never mentioned in booking. Never ever book Zuji. Too many conditional. I tried many booking company, this is worst one and so bad experience. I wont even want to give 1 star..
Date of experience: October 7, 2018I had booked a return flight on zuji and tried to change my return ticket from Santiago to Singapore - which is 6months away. I called 3 times, got put on hold a total of nearly 2hrs and was given so much bull$#*! about how the flight was either not available - although i see it listed on zuji website in real time, then about how it was not the same flight as the one im booked on and they have to do a 1:1 swap although its exactly the same flight numbers, then its not the same class so in order to change my ticket i have to upgrade myself to business class and pay a difference of $7,000 - which i can buy a brand new ticket by then.
Do not ever book with them. Extremely bad service.

Date of experience: July 18, 2018Very poor customer service for which you have to PAY and which actually makes matters worse! Use a travel agent - do not be fooled as the prices are not cheaper anyway. Use the site to find flights then call your agent to book. DIsclosure: I am not a travel agent and I don't think they provide much better service, but at least you can make changes. Making changes with Zuji and trying to get any kind of response form their "customer service" people is impossible. Be careful. Even with flights you can cancel, refunds take THREE months and they won't cover your interest bill on your credit card. Seems to be a very small Singapore-Australian operation with lots and lots of problems. Don't think they'll be around long.
Date of experience: June 10, 2015I bought a flight on Zuji recently, and encountered major issues. I had to cancel the flight, which was shown as refundable when I bought it (I even saved the screenshot saying so), but when I cancelled they refused to refund it.
Even when I proved their website showed incorrect flight conditions, they resorted to dirty tricks (claiming their website was "under maintenance") to get out of it. They also were completely unreliable returning my phone calls on the issue for weeks, and I still haven't got my money.
I would advise extreme caution in dealing with Zuji, which seems to sell tickets out of pure trickery but has trouble honouring the conditions when things go wrong
Date of experience: August 13, 2010I booked a flight + hotel deal with Zuji travelling from HK to Beijing on Air China. The night before my flight, I tried to check in online and found out that the flight has been cancelled. This was after 6pm. I did not receive any e-mail or calls from Zuji nor Air China informing me that the flight has been cancelled. When I tried to call Zuji, the customer care staff named Rainbow was polite enough to tell me that we had to go to the airport and sort it out ourselves as Zuji's ticket office was closed. After pressuring her, she managed to inform me of the earlier flight times, but that was all she could do.
My mom (61 years of age) and myself had to travel to HK airport with our fingers crossed praying that we get seats in the earlier flight. Thank God we did and arrived at Beijing earlier. However the experience with Zuji did put me off and I was very disappointed with them.
I will never book on Zuji again.
Date of experience: September 29, 2015Travelling to Kathmandu - get an email that my flights to and from Kathmandu have been changed... I have almost a whole day in transit in Kuala Lumpur because of this (on my way and returning back). Because of this my flight to sydney from Kuala Lumpur has to change as well. I contacted them several times to find out what is happening and to get an updated itinerary. Each time they said that they will escalate the issue to their supervisor and will get back to me within 24-48 hours. A week after (and 5 days before I leave) I still haven't heard back from them... still don't have an updated itinerary. Have no idea how I'm getting back home. Don't have a place to stay in transit. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Im so annoyed with them. WONT BE BOOKING WITH THEM AGAIN.
Date of experience: January 24, 2016Booked my flights on ZUJI for immediate confirmation and paid with a credit card. No sooner had I clicked the "PAY" button than I got the message, "We have been unable to confirm your requested itinerary" and we'll be back in touch within a couple of days.
What game is this? If they can't confirm my flights then and there, then they shouldn't first tell me that they can and then take my money. It's quite a serious matter to take money under false pretences, even if the money is returned at a later date. I feel like I was lured into booking with ZUJI, and now can't make an alternate booking elsewhere for 48 hours. Everyone knows that if you find an airfare you like you grab it now because it may not be there 48 hours later.
This is not an isolated case. I've learned too late that this a common complaint on Facebook about ZUJI.

Date of experience: February 16, 2016It was when I made my booking with them and saw the same message "your flight is not confirmed and payment has been processed" then I start jumping up and down. And it was too late when I googled for their reviews. I've faced the same problem all the people have here and was asked to give them up to 48hrs to handle it. There's nothing I can do but to wait and I don't expect anything good from them. I'll just have to reject whatever they offer and ask for a refund! Will never book any tickets from agents anymore, will book from airlines directly in-future.

Date of experience: October 26, 2017In mid-March I booked a flight from Hong Kong to Edmonton for my study trip in May. I chose a flight combination with a two-hour transit in Vancouver. About ten days later I checked the confirmation email and noticed that the flight from Vancouver to Edmonton was changed to another flight the following day, with over 14 hours of transit. I was shocked because this option was not even shown when I did my booking. Before I called up ZUJI, I entered the same search again and did not see this option either. Feeling quite confident that I did not make this mistake, I called up ZUJI to explain my situation. They said they needed several days to find out what had happened. I waited for three days, and also doubled checked my search several times and found that the combination they offered me was not shown in their search results. This afternoon the staff called me up and told me the flight option with 14 hours of transit was actually found on their web. I checked their website immediately, and this time I was so shocked to see a surprisingly long list of search results, which included the combination they offered. The staff said since they found no evidence of their fault, I need to pay extra money for changing my ticket. I really regret for trusting this company and for not taking screen caps of my search results for my own protection. Of course I don't have hard evidence to prove that they set things up in order not to admit that their fault either. Personally I don't think this is a trustworthy company and I will never book with ZUJI again.

After putting in dates, one receives a list of possible flights, EVERY one of the cheaper flights, suddenly become unavailable when you try to select them. This was not a fluke, I tried about 20 different combinations of dates, failed every time. Don't waste you time!

Date of experience: May 24, 2017I wish I had checked on sitejabber before I brought my tickets from Singapore to Hong Kong. I had to cancel my flight due to family emergency. I cancelled my flights online (which Zuji charge S$35); 12 hours later there was no response whatsoever. Not even an email to have received my request. Therefore I was forced to call them (which Zuji now charge S$60) and they told me they have not received my email which the website was meant to send as part of my cancellation request
The daylight robbery doesnt stop here. They took another S$60 upfront from me for cancelling my tickets and later told me it will take them 12-16 WEEKS to partially refund me after whatever fees are charged by the airlines. I kept asking them how much will I be refunded and whether I will receive a confirmation that my tickets have been cancelled, they said I will receive an email. That email took another 3 hours to come and doesnt even confirm how much I will be refunded
Just totally sh! T. I will never ever use them again for sure.
Date of experience: February 14, 2018I booked a one-way ticket from A to B using airline a and airline b respectively. Payment was done and itinerary issued to me. The following day, I received the following email:
Due to a discrepancy in the reservation system of the airlines, I regret to inform you that we are unable to confirm these flights together on one e-ticket.
What's the point of me booking with Zuji if I can't have the whole itinerary on one ticket? The reason why I booked through an online agency is to enable me to through checkin my luggage from A to B without having to re-checkin at A. I might as well book directly separate tickets from airlines a and b and re-checkin at A.
Zuji offered to issue me 2 separate tickets on airlines a and b or give me a full refund. I opted for the latter.
