My order arrived in 2 days, super fast. These guys have a million costumes, but I went with standard Pirate so I could wear it to an office party for our Pirate Party, and then also on Halloween. Saw a two dollar dog costume on clearance and grabbed that, too. No complaints. Date of experience: September 27, 2017I ordered two cute costumes according to their sizing chart. When I received the items, they were too small. I emailed them about it and four days later still haven't received a response. Terrible customer service! I would have to pay to ship the costume back to them, and then to have a new one sent as well. Not only that, but they marked the costume up $15! Date of experience: October 17, 2015Ordered an axe that, on arrival, looked nothing like the item on the site. Attempted to get a refund, but they would not reimburse the original shipping. Further, they expected me to pay to send the axe back. The total shipping to and from is more than the cost of the axe. I called and they agreed to send me a prepaid shipping label, but refused to reimburse the cost of the initial shipping. Due to the low cost of the item, they finally offered to refund the cost of the axe and let me keep it as a write off. While I understand the undelying logic, this is bad customer service. If you buy anything from them that is more expensive, caveat emptor. All of the sizes were in stock and most of the costumes were discounted from the retatil price. My shipping was only $4.50 since the costume was under 2 pounds. The costume came in the mail with no documentation and no email confirmation. When it arrived my son was thrilled, tryed it on, but thought the eyes did not work because they needed batteries installed. On the morning of Halloween, he asked me to put in batteries, but alas the batteries were included, were not replaceable, AND NEVER WORKED. I had a hard time remembering where I ordered it from because they never sent me any documentation, which should have arose my suspicion about this website. Anyway, when my Amex bill finally came, I called them, and they said they would only take returns on defects within 48 hours, even though I said I would be happy with the same, but working costume re-sent. They said it was out of stock, so I said I would take, something similar, even though Halloween is over and similar costumes on their website are listed for $9. Again they told me no. They finally offered me "10pct of my purchase, which i think they meant the original purchase, but more likely my next purchase." I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE AGAIN AS I BELIEVE THEY KNOWINGLY SENT MY MERCHANDISE THEY KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WAS NOT WORKING. My poor seven year old was in tears. I called Amex and the charge is now under dispute. But buyers beware, this is not a legitimate website. And their customer service is the worst. Date of experience: November 4, 2011
