Recently ordered a product using "ethical deal" (by ncrowd). Weeks later, no show on the product, and all they tell me is that they don't have a record of the transaction and cannot fulfill the order. Okay fine - so where is the refund? Oh sorry, we can't help you with that. Seriously! I have a record right here on my credit card showing that I paid you money. Nothing heard from them. What a scam! Date of experience: October 8, 2015I purchased several vouchers through Ethical Deal. NCrowd took over. I tried to redeem one of the vouchers. The merchant refused to honour it because NCrowd did not pay them. I contacted NCrowd. They were happy to issue a credit to my NCrowd account for future use. I tried today to access my account to use some of my previously purchased vouchers, and all the websites and accounts are gone - and so is all my money. I had over $200 in purchases and 'credits' between these two 'companies' and now it's all gone. I can contact my credit card company, but as it's been over 30 days, it's unlikely they can do anything about it. Plus, with my account gone, I don't know the exact days and amount paid for the credit card company to trace it. So all that money, that could have been used toward groceries or rent (most of my vouchers were for food/restaurants etc) is in some thief's pocket. It's always the broke, honest people who get screwed over the most. Date of experience: November 3, 2015I made my first purchase late this summer thinking i was dealing eith EthicalDeal. I never received the product and after contacting them was responded to by N'Crowd. I was given a credit and a small bonus as compensation. Fortunately I was only out of pocket $15.00. I used the credit for a second purchase and to date have not received the product. In response to my email asking for help this is in large part the response I got: Thank you for contacting BoomStreet. We recently acquired the rights to the name and email database of this company. Unfortunately, the company as it previously existed is no longer in business. We did not receive the revenues or any transaction data in regards to your purchase. I sincerely wish there were more we could do to help! Bye bye money. Stay away from this company whatever it's name is. Date of experience: October 20, 2015Boomstreet is NOT LEGIT. All these people do is change their business name every 2 years or so. Take as much buyer money and seller product as they can get away with. Once fed up people come pounding down their door they change their name! Spam their website and emails and let them know they are NOT LEGIT and should go to jail! I am a seller and am building a case for the FTC to get involved. THese deal sites must be stopped!
