I bought shoes less than 9 months ago and the sole on the left shoe became unglued. Everlane offered a $10 credit. Their products are marketed as well made but are garbage quality. See pic for yourself and hope this helps others. Products used:Shoes Service Value Returns Quality
I finally received an email from Everlane saying that they cancelled the transaction and that the money should fall back. I called the bank and they suggested to file an application challenging the transaction so I did. Two weeks after that I received the transfer. Happy end!
Today is the 31st of May and I haven't heard from Everlane except for promotional emails that they send me every other day. No money, no credit, no response. I strongly feel that this kind of "malpractice" shouldn't stay unnown to general public. “Fall in a trap "cancel order in one hour" - no money, no response to emails, no phone number to call” May 22nd, 2020 • Previous review I've placed an order from Europe with taxes and duties and right after pressing "buy" I noticed that there was a mistake. Near description of my order in my account there was a button "if you changed your mind cancel an order within one hour" with the explanation that an instant shop credit would be available for the next order immediately. So I pressed the button and canceled the order planning to place it again right away correcting the mistake. The order was canceled and any information about it disappeared from my account like it never happened, and so did my MONEY! I received neither shop credit, nor refund, nor response to my repeated emails. It happened on the 19th of May 2020. Nothing at all! After a long search I found in one of their FAQs that foreign orders are not eligible for instant credit. Wonderful to learn about it that way! For what are they eligible instead there was no indication. I assume for losing money completely or at best perhaps refund procedure that doesn't return taxes and duties (30% of the total cost). I feel that Everlane owed overseas customers a detailed explanation of what is going to happen right near that damn button "cancel the order". Also there's no phone number that one can call to be advised or hear a human voice saying "nope, tough luck, no money back for you, next time search for negative reviews on 3d party websites first than buy". loadjsReady({ event: 'app', checker: function() { return typeof app === "undefined" || typeof app.profilePicture === "undefined"; }, callback: function() { app.profilePicture('undefined', 'undefined'); } }) Paul P. 1 review 0 helpful votes Follow Paul P. Heard so much about Everlane. Expected a T-shirt I could buy forever. Instead, received two poor Crew Tees made in Vietnam, not USA. They claim it's USA cotton to justify the hype. Not one mention of this before ordering. Both shirts were poorly made and irregular. Unbelievable and the quality of fabric was not even good. Thinly woven. One collar was crooked and asymmetrical. The other had a side seam that twisted around the torso and ended up front. Neither of these appeared until they were washed. I figured just poor quality control l, but expected an easy exchange or return. The website said they will send a return label. Instead, they called it stretching and wanted me to submit pics for proof. The other option was to drive over an hour to their SF store. Deceptive again, so can't say one good thing about this company. Went to bottom of drawer and probably threw them out later. Tip for consumers:So much hype based on marketing, but everything I experienced was the opposite. Products used:none Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
So... I hesitated and waited quite some time before I placed my order for this tote I really really really wanted this tote and waited for a long time because of the price but I am a tote person and loved it when I first saw it online. I was really impressed with the packaging and somewhat disappointed with how long it took to get here so when I got it I was really excited about opening it and impressed with the covering protective bag that came with the tote. However, when I unpackaged it this is what I noticed first the scratches on the inside of the tote. Maybe not a big deal for some but for the price I would have expected Perfection all over.
I bought a hat through Everlane, and it was too big and scratchy. When I tried to return it, they subtracted the $4.95 shipping fee. They don't make that clear on their site. It's not worth shopping with them. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
I bought the 90s cheeky jean based on the reviews - everyone raves about them. They are very disappointing. There is a waist gap and the back pockets are much larger and lower down in reality so rather than making your peach look 'cheeky', it just looks frumpy - the photos on their site show them very differently to the reality. Living in Australia, they also took 4 weeks to arrive and then if I want to send them back I have to pay $25 OR pay to get them tailored so I can actually wear them. I do not believe their reviews anymore. I cannot be the only person who had issues with fit, but the website would make it seem like that is the case. Either way, this is not a $190 pair of jeans - it's actually a $250 pair by the time someone else has tailored them! Just beware of the 'amazing' reviews. I'm not at all convinced they are genuine. As with most companies they were great in the beginning however sold out and got greedy. Clothing is not what it used to be quality wise or ethics but women who obsess over the brand will claim everything is amazing… Listen to the honest reviews not overly gushy ones because they are written by people who just want to shop where their favorite influencer does! Except their favorite influencer doesn't actually love Everlane wither they just get paid to advertise. Sad… Products used:Pants, tops, dresses, sweaters, sweats Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
Waited a month to get my crossbody transit bag and the design was terrible- doesn't lie flat on the body in any position. But trying to return or get a response from customer service is like pulling teeth. I find the sizing and quality to be very hit or miss with them (mostly miss?) and I really dont have time for that with small children. They are a greenwashed version of the Gap, except that the Gap has better quality standards and much easier returns (and sales!). I purchased two of the Everlane leather market totes and after less than a year of use, the straps on both have split and broken. I contacted Customer Service to express my disappointment, and they offered no acceptable solution. The bags are stylish, but the quality is not good. I would not buy from this company again - partially for the quality but mostly due to their abysmal customer service. I hope with this review it saves other customers from the same disappointment
They may be an environment friendly company and may have some good quality items. But no online chat, hence the worst customer service through email. The shipment of the weekender bag I've purchased months ago have been pushed 3 times so far. And when I ask about estimated shipment, the only response from customer service is: "sorry for the inconvenience. We can gladly cancel your order" ughhhh Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
I have no idea what the clothes are like because they never delivered them. They simply took my money and went dark. You cannot speak to a human being. Customer customer service rates a zero.
I bought the Everlane cheeky jeans because it's so hard to find 100% denim. I'm so sick of the thin stretchy pants that have come to pass for jeans. The Everlane jeans took about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to arrive (not really that bad in Covid times where shipping is really a problem). They arrived and were great right out of the box. Much higher quality than I've seen in jeans in a long time. A fair price for the good quality. I bought the original cheeky ankle jeans which are supposed to be straight fit in a size 34. I fit the size 18/34 according to their size chart and an 18 is my normal size. The legs are a little loose (I never have extra room in the thigh - but these I do - not too much, but not clingy) and at the lower leg i really wanted a narrower bottom, but not looking for the stretch clingy fit. The hip fit perfectly and the waist was slightly loose. They were "ankle" and they come exactly to my mid ankle (26"). I would have preferred them about an inch shorter or an inch longer as they really just look like pants that are just barely long enough, but don't have any aspect of looking like a cropped pant. After wearing for the day, they definitely loosened up and got a little loose in the hip/seat. I wonder if I could fit a 33 instead, but not sure about the hip/thigh as the garment measurement would be about 2 1/2 inches smaller at the thigh and 2 inches smaller at the hip - so out of the box they may be a bit too tight, but I think after the stretch that natural 100% cotton denim gives they would have been perfect. The picture attached still has tags attached and was right out of the box before any stretch occurred. Tip for consumers:worth the wait for shipping (just pay attention to their stock as some items said they wouldn't ship for several months) Products used:jeans Service Value Shipping Quality
Customer service does not exist. Spent weeks waiting for an order I could not cancel that was supposed to arrive in time for Christmas. Ordered 2.5 weeks before Christmas. Website advertised it for Christmas. They never sent it and after 2 weeks I requested the current ad promotion which supposedly offers free expedited shipping" and they said I couldn't have it. This after 8 emails answered only by auto respond emails and a call to a local shop looking for help. Not worth it. Fake "concern". This company is worse than Amazon who at least connects you to a person and tried to help. False advertising! Tip for consumers:Do not order online. Go in to the store. Do not believe them. They seem to throw words and promises around. Not even sure I trust how their clothes are made. Service Value Shipping Quality
I've had cognitive dissonance with Everlane for a while. I'm finally done drinking the cool aid. I know 100% cotton shrinks. And Everlane's ordinary t shirts shrink less and wear out nice and soft. But their recycled cotton (though I love how it feels vintage) SHRINKS. I am 5'10", 140 lbs, a women's size 4 or 6, and I have been buying LARGE. That is ridiculous! I bought the men's air tee for an oversized one, XL which is their largest, and it is barely oversized. And definitely short. Like a men's crop top. If you want your everlane clothes to stay their current size, do NOT tumble dry even low, and better hope you're a petite human if you want to buy everlane to begin with. What are they thinking? The photo I attached is of a model wearing "small," but in real life it's how the L looks on a woman who is a size 4/6. Although I do still like their seamless underwear which isn't flimsy and doesn't ride up, and is lasting well, and their leather slide sandals are so comfortable, I've worn them every day since I bought them. I'll give them that. They don't invite me to write reviews for products I've purchased so... maybe they know it's been a mixed bag. Not very transparent if you ask me.
I ordered a black pair of boots that took almost one month to ship. Upon receiving the boot, I realized that the boot looked nothing like the boot I ordered. I attempted the return process which is like nothing I have ever experienced before. I am still waiting for "a customer service to contact me" for a return label. I regret not reading reviews about this company before I ordered. Tip for consumers:Never order from this company. Read all reviews Products used:Boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
In three days, it will be a month since I made a purchase from Everlane and my 2 jeans still haven't been delivered to my home in Australia. The tracking info isn't being updated and for almost 2 weeks has stayed the same. My husband purchased perfume from New York last week and it arrived yesterday. I tried calling. I tried texting. I'm apparently on waitlist since they have large volume of inquiries. Unless the jeans take my breath away, I will think twice ordering from Everlane. The least they could have done was provide best tracking system. Is that too much to ask for $245 dollar jeans (2 pair)? Another annoyance was they asked for my email and promised to send 10% coupon. Nothing arrived in my email and I even checked spam. So I signed up again, thinking it was me... still nothing. I'm disappointed in Everlane!
I returned items over 6 weeks ago, and I still have not received a refund. I will NEVER EVER order from Everlane again. Really crappy customer service... Don't shop here. It's not worth the headache.
I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. 2-4 weeks delay in delivery for these expensive clothes? Ridiculous! You need to stop taking orders or hire more employees if you can't handle the volume! First and last time shopping on this website! I will stick with ASOS, ZARA, and other fast fashion retailers with quality customer service. I placed an order with ASOS the same time as Everlane. I was able to receive my order from ASOS, return items that did not work for me, and just received my refund from ASOS. All of this has happened and Everlane hasn't even shipped out my order yet.
I guess based on the price point, I should not have expected real quality material. But if this site eliminates the middle man the $100.00 wrap dress should have as good quality as a $200.00 plus dress. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this dress. The fabric is just not good quality And extending that thought because the quality is fair, it does not sit well as a wrap dress. I guess I am used to wrap dresses by the queen Diane.
I've been buying from everlane since 2017. Sometime around 2018-2019 quality started decreasing and prices have gone up up up. Quality was never premium, but it was good enough. Now, almost every top I've purchased from them since 2019 has fallen apart with minimal wear. About 10 tops in total. Usually stitching fails, in some cases the material has had holes appear with only a few uses. I stopped purchasing from them because of this and one too many price hikes across the brand. Also, sizing and cut is so bad. Very short sleeves, and very boxie torsos. I am 6'2 200lbs and most long sleeves fit like 3/4 length t's, or was built as wide as a semi. C ya everlane, was fun while it lasted. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

I tried to place an order on-line that didn't go through. After pay took $21.00 out and canceled my order. Customer service refused to honor cyber Mon. Price on reorder. Thought it was rude. Still waiting on my return payment refund. Bad experience. Tip for consumers:Beware site has problems with processing orders. Customer service is poor.
I ordered the one thing I could actually use right now-sneakers. They held a site wide 25% off sale,, then emailed customers that "due to covid-19" shipping would be delayed up to 15 days for items purchased during the sale, but full price items would ship out immediately. Not OK. That's alot of consumer money they are earning interest on whole they obviously have the means to shop out full price items.
I wish I had read the reviews online rather than just on their website before I placed an order. It has now been a full month since I placed an order with Everlane, and still no trace of my parcel ('en route' every day for a month). This is absolutely insane. With clothing I am pretty forgiving and will return and repurchase items if I realize I chose the wrong size, but I am fully over it at this point. If these jeans don't fit on top of the insane wait, I will just cut my losses and never place another order.
