I bought shoes less than 9 months ago and the sole on the left shoe became unglued. Everlane offered a $10 credit. Their products are marketed as well made but are garbage quality. See pic for yourself and hope this helps others.

Date of experience: December 9, 2023Heard so much about Everlane. Expected a T-shirt I could buy forever. Instead, received two poor Crew Tees made in Vietnam, not USA. They claim it's USA cotton to justify the hype. Not one mention of this before ordering. Both shirts were poorly made and irregular. Unbelievable and the quality of fabric was not even good. Thinly woven. One collar was crooked and asymmetrical. The other had a side seam that twisted around the torso and ended up front. Neither of these appeared until they were washed. I figured just poor quality control l, but expected an easy exchange or return. The website said they will send a return label. Instead, they called it stretching and wanted me to submit pics for proof. The other option was to drive over an hour to their SF store. Deceptive again, so can't say one good thing about this company. Went to bottom of drawer and probably threw them out later.
Tip for consumers:So much hype based on marketing, but everything I experienced was the opposite.

Date of experience: April 13, 2023I bought a hat through Everlane, and it was too big and scratchy. When I tried to return it, they subtracted the $4.95 shipping fee. They don't make that clear on their site. It's not worth shopping with them.

Date of experience: January 3, 2023Customer service does not exist. Spent weeks waiting for an order I could not cancel that was supposed to arrive in time for Christmas. Ordered 2.5 weeks before Christmas. Website advertised it for Christmas. They never sent it and after 2 weeks I requested the current ad promotion which supposedly offers free expedited shipping" and they said I couldn't have it. This after 8 emails answered only by auto respond emails and a call to a local shop looking for help.
Not worth it. Fake "concern". This company is worse than Amazon who at least connects you to a person and tried to help.
False advertising!
Tip for consumers:Do not order online. Go in to the store. Do not believe them. They seem to throw words and promises around. Not even sure I trust how their clothes are made.

Date of experience: December 20, 2021I have used Everlane four or five times over the last couple of years. Delivery times to Scotland have been exceptionally good (5 days being the typical norm).
The quality of clothing has been solid, but not up there with the best (but then again, Everlane don't charge top prices).
Worthy of mention would be my Parka. I got it in the sale, and I consider it to be an absolute bargain when compared to other jackets that I own (all of which cost at least three times as much).

Clothing is not what it used to be quality wise or ethics but women who obsess over the brand will claim everything is amazing… Listen to the honest reviews not overly gushy ones because they are written by people who just want to shop where their favorite influencer does! Except their favorite influencer doesn't actually love Everlane wither they just get paid to advertise. Sad…

The shipment of the weekender bag I've purchased months ago have been pushed 3 times so far. And when I ask about estimated shipment, the only response from customer service is: "sorry for the inconvenience. We can gladly cancel your order" ughhhh

Date of experience: February 28, 2022I bought the 90s cheeky jean based on the reviews - everyone raves about them. They are very disappointing. There is a waist gap and the back pockets are much larger and lower down in reality so rather than making your peach look 'cheeky', it just looks frumpy - the photos on their site show them very differently to the reality. Living in Australia, they also took 4 weeks to arrive and then if I want to send them back I have to pay $25 OR pay to get them tailored so I can actually wear them.
I do not believe their reviews anymore. I cannot be the only person who had issues with fit, but the website would make it seem like that is the case. Either way, this is not a $190 pair of jeans - it's actually a $250 pair by the time someone else has tailored them!
Just beware of the 'amazing' reviews. I'm not at all convinced they are genuine.

Would not extend first time promo to second purchase literally made within 20 minutes after first. Customer service condescendingly told me to go pound sand!
For a company that hypes transparency and fairness, they fall way short in action.

Date of experience: December 15, 2021I placed an order for one item which was never delivered. I waited the 5-8 business days, but after seeing that the item was continuously "in transit" I contacted customer support. The only way I found to contact anyone is by text, most of which are automated. I was told to wait 10 days. After a total of 17 days, I contacted them again in which I was informed my item had been lost in shipping and the item was no longer available. I wish they would have told me sooner so that I was not just waiting for something that would never come. Now I'm waiting for a full refund. I would love to have received the item I ordered as I was expecting it to be a nice high quality piece. However, after this unpleasant experience, I do not trust to order from Everlane again. I hope others do not have a similar experience.

Date of experience: November 1, 2022I've been buying from everlane since 2017. Sometime around 2018-2019 quality started decreasing and prices have gone up up up. Quality was never premium, but it was good enough. Now, almost every top I've purchased from them since 2019 has fallen apart with minimal wear. About 10 tops in total. Usually stitching fails, in some cases the material has had holes appear with only a few uses. I stopped purchasing from them because of this and one too many price hikes across the brand. Also, sizing and cut is so bad. Very short sleeves, and very boxie torsos. I am 6'2 200lbs and most long sleeves fit like 3/4 length t's, or was built as wide as a semi. C ya everlane, was fun while it lasted.

Date of experience: August 30, 2022I ordered a black pair of boots that took almost one month to ship. Upon receiving the boot, I realized that the boot looked nothing like the boot I ordered. I attempted the return process which is like nothing I have ever experienced before. I am still waiting for "a customer service to contact me" for a return label. I regret not reading reviews about this company before I ordered.

Date of experience: August 21, 2022I wore a new Henley tee for 7 hours. This is what it looked like when I took it off. I've had more holes appear in their tees than any others I've ever had. Now I know it isn't my washing machine or dryer. Too bad because they have some cute clothes and the staff is lovely. Unfortunately, everything is going back. No more Everlane for me.
Date of experience: August 18, 2019Ordered a pair of their vintage wash 90's cheeky ankle. They were too short so I ordered the exact same pair but in the regular length. Thankfully I hung on to the ankle length pair until the regular length pair arrived because they are two completely different colors! I contacted customer service and I was in short told that "they are the same pair just on the lighter wash spectrum." No where on the website do they claim that "each wash is unique" or that you might receive a pair of jeans that look nothing like the website photo. They are literally selling products and claiming them as something else. If you are going to sell inconsistent products, SAY THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. I don't think it's wrong of people to expect an item to look the way it is advertised on the website. The only thing customer service could do for me was tell me to return them (could have offered a partial refund for inconsistent products). Their returns are already a scam because they claim "free returns" with Happy Returns but then deduct a return shipping fee from your refund. They claim to be transparent but they are genuinely shady. Madewell has better jeans, and actually good customer service.
Update: I suggested to the company that they update their website to let customers know that "every pair of denim is a little different" and instead of responding they just sent a "how did we do?" link LOL.

Date of experience: September 17, 2020Actual shoe colour to what is on their website is inaccurate. Poor returns process for international customers -- basically none, you return at your own cost. When you contact them to give them feedback, they are prompt to reply but offer nothing. Clearly they are not interested in keeping a customer. They cannot even get my name right and I wonder if they even read my email to their Support team. FIrst time buying from them, it will be my last for sure.
Leaving a review for them publicly is difficult. No ability to leave google review nor facebook review. Clearly way too many bad reviews that they do not want you to see.

Date of experience: June 6, 2024I recently ordered 3 tank tops from Everlane. The first time I wore one of them it developed holes in the front, before I even washed it. I have phoned and emailed their customer service several times to get permission to return all three items. I could never speak with a real person at their customer number. Two weeks ago, they sent me an email requesting more information about my order. I responded immediately with all information requested, but they have still not communicated with me again. I would tell anyone who asks not to purchase anything from Everlane. Their product is trash and their customer service is nonexistent.

I immediately emailed Everlane back and got an after hours response. The next morning I received an email that I can only make changes or cancel an order within 1-hour of making it, which I did; keep in mind you can't call and Everlane apparently doesn't hire anyone to read emails "after hours." And apparently your order is in the mail within an hour - yeah right! I'm traveling and was told to go to a library and print out a return label! Well that's inconvenient! I like the clothes but Everlane's customer service, cancellation & return policies suck! No thanks! Hopefully Nordstrom will carry more of their pieces.

However, someone hacked into my Everlane account, added a shipping address, and made a purchase using my saved credit card. I notified Everlane immediately and was told I would be contacted by a team member. I just received the notice that the fraudulent orders had been shipped. Very disappointing, very poor business model, great way to lose customers.
Date of experience: November 6, 2018The heavy weight T shirt arrived with poor dye job on the front. In order to return the item, I had to email the company and request for an RMA. Then one of the staff requested me to take a photo of the defect and email it to them before they would provide a shipping label which will deduct $6 from my refund. Absolutely one of the worst shopping experiences. No wonder Amazon is winning. Never do business with them again.
Date of experience: July 11, 2019I haven't even received my items yet, but I spent over $1,000 at Everlane and none of it has arrived yet after placing my order OVER two weeks ago. This is 2019, not 2009. Customers except order to arrive within a week of placing an order now, and almost every other big retailed guarantees this. Waiting more than two weeks for an order is just crazy. Can't imagine how long the whole process will take if I have to return anything.

Most insurers would not cover my phone unless it was purchased from a retail outlet or from a service provider. Esurranty offered the best coverage including loss and theft for the best price.
