Will never order again. Tried ordering a product 3 times. Always sold out. Ordered other items. The guy had something on my order that I had told him repeatedly that I didn't want. Shipped it anyway I was also suppose to get a 25 percent discount for my birthday. I did not get that. So although I repeatedly told this dude I didn't want something, I send it back and was still charged for shipping it back. It also was not even the right size. Did I say I AM DONE!?Bought 2 pair of shoes online, same style, different makers. They are Clogg / mule slid on shoes one pair was fine the other obviously had a manufactured defect. I have normal size feet. I don't need extra-wide or anything out of the ordinary. I could not get my foot but halfway into one pair of shoes. I notified them straight away there was a problem with the shoes. Their response for me to ship them back at my expense and they would charge me a restocking fee. It takes them over a week to respond to my email, when I said I would not pay to have them shipped nabk to them, it took them another week to respond, etc. I ended up having to keep the $50.00 dollar pair of shoes that I can not, my family and friends cannot fit their foot into. I received the BILL BEFORE receiving the items! How shabby is that?! Then the very small first item arrived stuffed in a box 20x its size! The second large item arrived with the top OPEN! I tried to call Customer Service, requesting a Sup Ervisor, after waiting 7 1/2 minutes to get through. I was questioned endlessly by Carol about WHY I needed to talk to a Supervisor... I have a complaint about my order and don't want to explain it TWICE... she never connected me after questioning me so I ended the call telling her I would NEVER again order from Gold Violin again. Sometimes I find cheaper stuff on Amazon and sometimes I find cheaper stuff at my local medical supply store. So Gold Violin is OK but it's not much of a slam dunk.I bought a walker on Gold Violin for my dad who is 83. I didn't shop around on price but I thought their customer service was good. I'd use it again.I have had an account with Gold Violin and have ordered several items without a problem. I trusted them and ordered a "manual" treadmill... about 200$. In the pictures you can see that it is on an incline, but there appeared to be an adjustment hole position in the supports.In fact there is no adjustment... the first problem is that this thing is on a sharp incline... impossibly strenuous for an older person ( well... may Jack La Lanne could have done it :) Second, the box had almost disintegrated before it arrived. This thing is HEAVY. Furthermore, to start walking, you have to kind of shove the track... no motor, so it relies on your force to get it going. It then goes but too fast all of a sudden. And that's the way it is the whole time... fast, slow, sudden fast, sticks, again sudden fast. Dangerous. If you don't hold on to the handle bars. You WILL FALL. This is entirely inappropriate for any elderly person. So the box was in shreds and I threw the remains away. I called Gold Violin this morning and they said that the vendor would pick it up but it has to be in a box. She would send me a label, but the assembled thing is not OK. Has to be dissassembled and re boxed. I doubt that I will be able to find any way to box the thing up. So basically I guess I'll just have to put it out by our apartment house dumpster. Here's the thing though that you should know about Gold Violin. Last night I put up a review of this thing... one star since they don't have zero stars. I noted that it is dangerous and included most of what I have written here. The review is not online. I asked the customer service rep about that and she ignored my quesstion... I repeated it until she said I would have to email in with that. So dishonest. She said that many people had received this thing and they were all satisfied. I believe that cannot be true. Perhaps people simply didn't review it. At this time, there is one 5 star review. A woman says her grandson is happy with it. Service ValueGoldviolin is a good site to buy things for the elderly.
