    Webpress support is good as well as decent interface. I wish you guys a bit better on renewals. Each time you want to screw us with your high prices but then give discounts. It has been 10 years now still you try every year. You must build a database, lets have his personal site no cost do not try to charge extravagant like it is a giant microsoft website. This is a guy barely pays his house mortagge.
    To host my website and get the free email accounts they offer is the main reason I chose HostGator for my webhosting. It is very disappointing that they discontinued Gator.com and we are forced to either purchase a third party or use WordPress which is the most unfriendly application I have used in my 40 year experience I have contacted HostGator support several and find that the agents are very impatient and give up without resolving the problem. I have to contact support several times for the same issue in order to piece together my own resolution Service

The new panel is awful - missing half of what I routinely use, obscure with the rest. In particular I can find no way to cancel a redundant SSL and it's really pissing me off. Additionally, some of our sites began to fail because you added an automated WordPress core update, then switched it on without telling anybody, and then it worked like crap, not updating all files, thus rendering the sites unstable. Garbage.
    Email is increasing spotty. Financial institutions have reported my email addresses bounce back as undeliverable. I suspect the servers are just over whelmed. No good. Service
    You have been a reliable host so far. The new version requires more and confusing steps for me to access to my files to update. I use Visual Studio to create content, then upload to HostGator. Your priority should provide "how to make it easy to access and update my files", instead of selling me features I don't need. Thank you, guys for being a good reliable host.     Horrible support. After a couple of decent experiences, couldn't change active theme on my WordPress site. Two support people tried changing it and couldn't do that either. Escalated to their "WordPress Specialist" and scheduled a support call for 11am this morning. Of course nobody called. I ended up fixing the issue on one of my websites by uninstalling and re-installing WordPress completely. The other site is still broken. No support available. Asked them for my money back because I want to switch hosting company but they refused. Will be initiating chargeback via credit card. Another issue, Force HTTPS Redirects is not available (grayed out/disabled) for both of my sites in cPanel. Had to edit my.htaccess file to fix that. At least they had a video for that, Still wasted over an hour on that. They are cheap, but you get what you paid for. Tip for consumers:Don't. Just don't. Pick anybody else.     Previous administrator was already with HG. I decided to take over the hosting myself under my own account. It was all downhill from there. Nobody speaks understandable English, representatives will outright lie to you (I was told multiple times I was holding for a supervisor. 1 rep finally admitted there was no supervisor). Migration team doesn't accept phone calls. Everything is translated through the customer service team, which can't help at all. I will never, ever use this company

    Host Gator has the worst service and support possible! Their hosting is extremely slow, while their support is unprofessional! My websites are running very slow and whenever I call a support I get a random guy who doesn't have an idea what to do to solve the problem. If you email or try to talk to a senior position, you get promises that your website will run smoothly in a couple of hours, but at the end you only get empty promises.     Bait and switch. Dishonest and will trick you into a plan and then start hitting you up for charges. Even provided them with screen shots of their website showing what services were in my plan at the time of purchase and they still demanded addl fees for everything. I don't understand it, Bluehost and Hostgator are owned by the same company, but one has been top notch, honest and helpful. Took my money back and gave it to Bluehost. Reason I chose this business: I tried hostgator because it was the same owner as Bluehost and Bluehost seemed to be getting too expensive. Now I know why. I don't understand it, Bluehost and Hostgator are owned by the same company, but one has been top notch, honest and helpful. And the other dishonest, misleading, and unhelpful. Went back to Bluehost.     Not Go, that's for sure. Got tired of getting charged for every little thing, so switched to HostGator a few years ago. Decent rates, good tech support, free SSLs and email accounts, etc. Highly recommended!
    I am still having issues with sent emails, through Google) ending up in the recipients Spam folder. I found on the Google site what I thought might help resolve it and the Host Gator support tech helped me make the changes suggested but I (and my employees) are still having the issue. There is still some "finger pointing" going on between Google and HostGator. Tech support person was helpful in implementing what was described to me as a "fix" for my issue.     I´ve choosed Hostgator in 2017 when I started my blog, and have been with them since then. The Support team is the best, they always solved my issues swiftly. Also it´s super useful that it can be reached by chat since English isn´t my first language and I don´t understand it very well by phone. My blog grew into a nice business and never went offline (except for the times I´ve messed it up :P ) Great work HostGator!
    Very poor integration of changes made in Nov. That were not made known to front line and above support techs, regarding admin privileges. Logging in requires so many steps just to get to cp because of the non stop promotions. Nothing is one click access. Terrible design. Also, they push you towards chat vs phone support but you ask a question on chat and wait ±5 minutes for any response, which tells me they are juggling who knows how many calls. Lastly, please change the on hold music to option OFF
    Affordable, but slow and unreliable. I'm hosting some clients' websites on HostGator just while I develop them, but I would never use HostGator for their live sites.
    Pop email and NOT Microsoft 365 or Google as backoffice. Like most other providers are moving to Though I am considering switching hosting providers over the jump in prices for my plan since that is a 56% increase for me to keep my current features with no value add. Even though paying in advance reduces that bill overall if feels like I am being pushed into a corner. No it is not a ton of money but every dollar counts in this economy and it is only one of many things in my life that now costs more.

    Was okay in that I have a working and attractive website. Less than satisfied with lack of clarity for a layman trying to set it up. Still lack some features like communication links and blogs separate from normal web content. Reason I chose this business: Public reputation and economy
    I conducted deep research before purchasing and compared the hosting companies' belongings, their CEO's, founder, past history, reviews then, I figured out, this will be best option for shared plan :)
    Host Gator has no clue how to handle a server updgrade. Our VPS server was down for 33hrs while the tech support kept saying 5-30min. They had no insight or updates, just "we're performing a migration to upgrade". After 33hrs of downtime the server was back up for about 24hrs and now it's down again. Tech support said the migration will be over "today". So, that's another day of missed revenue and angry clients. 4 days to perform a migration is just awful. Once the server is back up I'm getting a refund and moving my sites elsewhere.
    So far so good. Wondering why my site seems to go offline for 10 minutes per night for the past two nights. Will inquire further if it keeps happening. Online support is mostly helpfull. Had one experience where I had to repeat myself 2 or 3 times to get the point accross but other than that, all good! Already described in the previous section. Reason I chose this business: Saw a promo on a youtube video and upon visiting and lookimg for reviews, I thought it was a good option for my business. Reason I chose this product: I chose the business plan because I don't want to worry about storage space or number of domains as I have 1 site that is live and a second one that is in the works right now, but plan on having more in the near future. I also transfered a domain I had registered with Google in the past, so yeah, pretty satisfied so far with what I got for my money! Service Quality
