    I paid $2300 for a room at a Florida hotel just before COVID hit last year. I had to cancel the reservation. The hotel confirmed that Otel.com was refunded what it paid from my funds but Otel refused to return any payment to me. The phone number on its site did not connect to its location in Ankara Turkey or went to an unrelated entity. Attempts to communicate by other means were totally ineffective. Please stay away from this company. Tip for consumers:Don't trust it! Service Value Quality
    We were supposed to go to London but due to corona the borders were closed so we didn't. We've been writing them emails and all calling to automated message that told us to cancel the booking to get a refund. When we did so they've send us an email after around 2 months that their hotel supplier cancelled the refund and we won't have no money back. We've been writing them non stop again and it's just not possible to reach them. It's a biggest scam we don't know what to do please avoid them
    Otel is a scam. Do not use them. I cancelled my hotel reservation well before the cancellation deadline. I received a confirmation email saying the refund would take 10-14 days. I waited. No refund. I emailed them. It took about 3 weeks to get a response. That response claimed technical problems and it would take another ten days. I have gone to my credit card company for a refund. I still do not have a refund. I cannot understand why they appear on any referral web site.
    Otel.com is hosted by more reputable online booking sites like Trivago. Otel.com does NOT deal with the hotel directly, but uses yet another online agent/broker for their bookings. Booking took place on 01.02.2020 for 2020/05/21 - 2020/05/24. Two weeks before the commencement date (2020/05/21) hotel informed me that booking was cancelled. Still, automated vouchers kept arriving via e-mail, pretending all is in order. When querying with Otel.com, no communication was received, not even an acknowledgement of receipt of such. Ticket was logged on their site with request for refund, no reply as yet. Neither hotel nor intermediate broker/agent received funds, but intermediate denies information who cancelled. The fact remains that they were unable to deliver a service for a booking that we did not cancel. Otel.com is still sitting with my money and doing nothing. Stays away from Otel.com. They're neither worth your attention, time nor money.
    Hotel was closed in Barcelona, Spain because of COVID, still Otel doesnt want me to cancel it because its a non-refunded hotel room. Come on, it's not possible to access the hotel and they still want me to just loose the money, didnt even offer reschedule or voucher. However, when creditcard company requested them, they are saying (after planned stay) they offered voucher or reschedule. Just BS. Stay away, dishonest company, Turkish apparently
    I booked with them before COVID and needed to cancel. I emailed countless times trying to get ahold of them about a refund. They never once responded. They only have an international number to call so you get charged. We called once to try and resolve the issue, they said we would get a refund in 14 days. They lied, it's been months and Still no refund. I still continuously try and contact them but still no response. Do not use this service they are a scam.
    Metroglobal otel.Com and totel.Com is a company scam taking advantage of all paying citizens of every country in the world. Duh metroglobal. If he scams 300 dollars from everyone that just says oh well I got scammed and doesn't report then that's millions of dollars in his pocket in his country of Turkey. I just wanted a nice hotel but there bought and run by him and cockroach always under construction piece of $#*!s. We as consumers are suppose to just deal and mark a star on reviews. How many years is he going to get away with screwing everyone
    Horrible experience Booked 3 nights at Walt Disney Orlando: when I called at the hotel to asked some questions about my upcoming stay, they couldn't find my reservation. Chat 3 times with otel.com, got 3 differents stories... so I never got a room at Walt Disney resort. When at the end I asked for a refund due to covid-19 they said they can't reimburse because their partnership have strict rules... Anyway worst experience ever, don't book with them to save money... it is not worth the trouble. Finally I dispute the amount with my credit card...
    Made reservation! Paid for it with my AMEX card! What the hell! NO Reservations per the Hotel! OTEL... I hope the police come and get every last one of you guys!
    Just received an email saying that they were cancelling my booking due to Coronavirus. The hotel is still open and taking bookings but for more than we paid Otel.com six months ago. They have had our money and now they cannot get the hotel for the price we paid have made up an excuse. Waited thirty minutes for customer services and they then cut me off. See you in court
    YES! It is! We booked and paid for hotel in Greece in January and when we arrived at the hotel last week, they said Otel.com had cancelled our booking with them and showed us proof of that. AND we received no less than 3 reminders from Otel.com in the week leading up to the booking! Needles to say we had to pay the hotel directly as well. We have lodged a fraud case with our bank against Otel.com!
    During the state of this world we were unable to leave our state and the destination state was on lockdown. We could not goon our vacation. No refund given! Not even a partial! This is unacceptable and poor business. I would give negative 5 stars on this process from the beginning. The room couldn't even be verified until 2 weeks before the date. A week before we were on lockdown. It's not a sit i would recommend to the devil

    Scam scam scam! Don't even think of booking with this site. They sold me a "standard individual room" and after paying it was a shared room! When i contacted the help center they opened an internal investigation to check if it was their mistake. 1 week later they answered me telling it was their mistake. But I had to pay the difference in the hotel and they would refund me later. When I asked how they were going to refund me, they never asked. Three times I asked. Each answer took 4 or 5 days. Embarrassing, an appalling service. And no customer service at all. Avoid this site because you won't have any help from them.
    Booked stay in Amsterdam for the 23rd March for 3 nights. Due to covid all travel was cancelled, so I requested a refund for the fees paid. Before this I had tried to print the voucher in the email confirmation, which wouldn't print( alarm bells). After five weeks got reply to request for refund, stating it was" not them, but the supplier" had refused the refund. Disgraceful behaviour hiding behind "supplier" in the current (or any) situation. Smells of total lack of professionalism. Please do not use this site. Read the reviews, I wish I had!
    They stole more than £1500 from me. During the pandemic, unable to travel to London, I was forced to cancel my booking. They never replied to any message, never answered the phone. Grabbed my money, and hid in their caves. THEY ARE THIEVES! But beware, because they are still operating!
    I booked a room for two nights on May 14th, staying for two nights at the Best Western Bayshore Inn for May 15th and 16th and I paid with my credit card, about $100 for each night. Otel.com sent me a confirmation and a voucher number and I was supposed to print out the voucher. There was no way to print out the voucher. The hotel did not have a record of the reservation, so I had to pay again. Fortunately, my bank flagged this as a fraudulent transaction and I received a refund.
    I booked a fully refundable hotel for a stay in May 2020, which I cancelled almost 2 full months before we were due to arrive. When cancelling and requesting a cash refund, the cancellation confirmation email stated they had automatically converted it to a voucher and I'd have to email to request a cash refund. After several back and forths over email with them offering +10% and then +15% on top of the voucher, they eventually agreed to process a refund which could take up to 60 days. 60 days have passed and, despite chasing several times I hadn't had a response, so raised a dispute with Amex. They upheld this until Otel.com disputed it and send back all the documentation and emails PRIOR to my request to cancel and states I broke their booking terms. They failed to include the numerous emails which confirm they are processing a cash refund. I get travel agents and low cost booking sites are under significant strain right now, but this behaviour and attitude is sly and underhanded.     Avoid these as a plague, I've made an attempt to book a hotel stay with them, the booking did not go through for whatever reason but my card was charged, I have contacted them several times and received different contradictory messages, rang them which costed me a 15 pounds bill for 5 minutes conversation, they reassured me that they have not charged me on their side and the payment is pending but took the money anyway and later denied and insisted that they've not charged my card! It took me days and long conversations with my bank to recover the money! Scammers, unacceptable and hope that your scam company will disappear not to be seen or heard forever!
    I am an essential employee driving a truck during the covid 19 virus. I used Otel to book a room for five nights. When I arrived at the Hotel I the credit card from Otel was declined. We tried for two hours to get ahold of them by phone and email. I then had to pay for the room again. For the last three weeks I have tried to get my money back but I still can't get ahold of anyone.
    Terrible experience with this company. Hotel I booked through them is closed due to COVID19 and they still won't provide a refund on the night booked even though they have not paid the hotel with my prepaid payment.
    I BOOKED A ROOM THREW OTEL.COM, I WAS SENT A COFERMATION # AND A VOUCHER #, I WAS SUPPOSED TO PRINT THE VOUCHER # BUT THERE WAS NO WAY TO PRINT IT. HOTEL NEVER RECEIVED A RESERVATION OR THERE MONEY FROM OTEL ( THEY NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THEM BEFORE), I DID NOT GET THE ROOM THAT OTEL SAID WAS BOOKED, AFTER I PLACED A NUMBER OF CALLS, ( NO ANSWERS, DISCONECTED OR NO LONGER IN USE TELEPHONE LINES). HAD NO OPTION BUT TO PAY FOR ROOM AGAIN. WHAT A SCAM!
    They deceive everyone and get money and don't return. DON'T trust this company. No response for months.
    Booked a reservation in May and cancelled within the outlined timeframe for "free cancellation". Otel.com sent a credit voucher and refuses to refund my money. There is no way to contact them and no one responds to emails.
