I sent a request for pet sitting, however the provider could not accommodate the request, care.com still charged me. There is no phone number and they make it difficult to connect to discuss issues, you email and wait for a response. I replied to the message but have not heard back so I don't know what to do now. I would like to hire this person but won't be able to if they don't respond to my message. I will probably keep trying to find help till the end of November and if I'm not able to will just give it up as a lost cause and cancel my membership with Care. I also think it is quite expensive although I didn't know how to find a caregiver any other way besides going through a company and that way you don't always get quality people. We have a special needs daughter and have never left her with someone who was not family. My sitter helped calm my nerves by asking a lot of questions so she could be well-prepared and showed a genuine interest in my children.
