    Good god! Even something as simple as forwarding a domain is a nightmare with GoDaddy. Error message appears that something "is too long", yet it doesn't tell you what is too long. Then prepare yourself for an hour on hold...as I am right now...after being hung up on accidentally with a previous call and they didn't call back. AND I'M EVEN PRO LEVEL. For as much as they're raping for annually, you'd think that they'd have their own site functioning well enough to not have to call in to them. Yep...NOPE. Find someone else to host your domains. You've been warned. Tip for consumers:Don't use Go Daddy ...you'll be sorry. Unless you like waiting on hold for an hour at a time listening to their crappy 5 music beds that all suck and just play over and over and over and over every 30 seconds. Products used:Domain Names.     Despite sending seven emails during the month-long contract, none were answered, and phone calls were ignored. No effort was made at all. Finally came in contact with a new Go Daddy broker six weeks later, who provided a domain cost over 160 times the original estimate.     I used to love godaddy customer service but now it's terrible. Not sure if they've outsourced or what - but I just had the worst rep. He was talking in circles, not answering the most basic question. I am now sitting on hold for over ten minutes after asking to speak with someone else. I can barely make out what's he's saying and he has the nerve to have an attitude. He keeps coming back to the line, not saying anything and then placing me on hold again.     My renewal came up and it was set for automatic renewal, which renewed three times what I originally paid. After calling customer service and dancing around. I absolutely got nowhere. I got told sorry too bad all you can do is cancel and you'll lose your whole domain. No one would say let's see what we can figure out here and keep you as a customer bad bad customer service and of course no refund offered or nothing. Just deal with it and get over it and please call us on your next renewal and see what we can do. Value
    I sale Granite, I have a very highly rated company I used GoDaddy Commerce and Payments. I made an enormous error they have my clients deposit for over a week and they have zero I mean zero respect for the issue their clients experience. I had an online payment issue where they would not fund my clients payment and it took a week and maybe 10 hours on the phone.     We were thinking about a company name and the decision was directly related to a domain availability. 3 times (!) the same case happened: 1. Search for a specific domain. Find it available 2. Take 1 hour to discuss and agree with partners 3. Return to GoDaddy to book domain and see it is not available any more! GoDaddy offers you a service to purchase the domain for 73 euro. So now I'm paying $800 for the next two years for literally nothing. Terrible customer service and not doing the right thing for the customer.     A person named William Nelson came to me offered me 600 no comissions. Said I have to move my domain to Godaddy in order to sell it. I did so eventually after verifying this was indeed godaddy rep. He then reneged on his deal. Said i had to pay 25% fee thru Afternic (Partner in deception and scams with Godaddy) William Nelson ~ no integrety do not believe a word said Godaddy - supports deceptive practices do not buy or sell through godaddy - your risk Afternic - there to charge excessive fees under the vail of a different business name also not to be trusted. Tip for consumers:The sale is off on principle. Not going to take 450 when my offer was 600. Now i have to move my domain again Godaddy charges twice the monthly fee for carrying your domain.     I wasted an hour speaking to one of their representatives who wasn't helpful and was simply rude. They are holding my domain hostage and due to their "system issues" I can't transfer it to another company. I will never register domain with them again!     I don't know where to begin. Not enough character space to cover it all. Just move on to another service. The scheduled calls with a person from the design center...its a different person each time and some are quick ad seem to know what they are doing...some are old retired codgers who stumble around. I did several hours worth of work editing my site, then had the scheduled call with some guy who kept telling me how he was impressed with all the changes I had made. Two days later I get an email my site is ready to review. ALL my editing was gone. I could go on...but just save your self some time and get a service that has a person assigned to you from the "design team". Good luck

    This site promises the world and delivers very little. They are super quick to take your money yet when their system fails time and time again, they are nowhere.     I have been trying to cancel My GoDaddy for over two years now, each year they still billing me for services I no longer need. Each time you try to cancel they will run through a number of hoops until they say they no longer offer a refund but offer a discount for next years renewals as compensation?! The Cancellation system is also designed in a way so each step takes 24 hours or 48 hours so you run out of time/ patience or you spend hours talking to their Indian call centers until you no longer have the energy to fight. You also have to start all over each time because "They don't have any records of any prior conversation" So far I have provided copy of my passports. Signing up with 2way authentication Requesting new pins. Still ho cancellation or refund in sight. Currently I have filled Consumer claim against them for the money they have taken without my permission. It will be a long process. Stay away! Tip for consumers:Cancellation policy is a nightmare.     The customer service experience was terrible. I have 7 email accounts and 5 domains with them, but when I needed assistance the most, they made me wait for 2 1/2 weeks without providing a resolution. They repeatedly asked me to perform trivial troubleshooting steps, such as restarting the computer each time I contacted them. They lack a comprehensive customer database, requiring me to explain the issue repeatedly during every call. Dealing with them has been extremely frustrating.     I was promised a refund nine days ago. It still has not materialized. Talked to several different representatives from the company on the phone, got three different stories/excuses. At least one of the customer service reps simply lied to me. They refuse to check with their ACH processor who obviously screwed up the refund. Keep telling me that it is my problem to correct.     Customer service is so terrible that I have been on hold for almost 2 hours and counting, just to get my credit card removed from their system. Per their website, I cannot remove it without speaking with someone. I think they are just hoping that I will get tired of waiting for their single cancellation employee to cycle through all the customers tired of their service. I tried to do this through their 24/7 online chat and they said the wait was 89 minutes so I am just hoping someone will finally answer my call or in chat. It seems like I will likely be dead before they get to my request. At the hold point of 1:51:56, I got a recording that stated that my estimated hold time is 2 minutes. We will see. I cant review their other services but judging by their CS response time, I think its just not worth it. I dont like giving bad reviews but this is just nuts.     Definite Scam company now... On 11/11/2023 I bought a domain with.co extension. It was an appealing and brandable name. After buying the domian I pointed that domain to my shopify store. Due to some uncertain reasons I wasn't able to complete my store. But today 11/28/2023 when I tried to access my site, I wasn't able to access my admin panel.     Absolutely horrible, from disrespectful customer service bouncing you from "department" to "department," their failure to ACTUALLY cancel your subscriptions, and ACTUALLY delete your credit card on-file, to horrible pricing! NameCheap and WordPress are definitely more worth your money and time - these have much more responsive and efficient customer service algorithms. Don't even give GoDaddy a second thought!
