The god damn text support people that ive told 100 trillion times that i want a refund, ignore me and wont give me it, the price went from 1500, to 750, and noe is at 300, i got into a automatic repair loop and the support person just cares about how to fix it, they sell fake warrantys, im about ready to send a credit card dispute to these multi billion dollar money hungry $#*!es who cant spare some money becwuse their product is $#*!

QualityBought printer believing I could buy my own ink. WRONG! Unless you stay signed up for their service plan, the printer will have to be reinstalled EVERYTIME you change it. And now it will not even work. Service kept telling me 'if you sign up you won't have this problem." After 10 minutes of run arounds and previously 1 hour, I am done and WILL NEVER BUY OR USE AN HP product again! HP, you will no longer hold this customer hostage! I am buying an Epson today!

It's been 3 days tracking system says it is out for delivery. Obviously no one at Parcel Force cares for answering the phone to anxious customers trying to figure out what's going on. I gave up after 30 min of wait over the phone. Maybe 3h is the normal wait time. Maybe they simply wait for you to give up.
Said they tried a delivery as I was home but didn't care to ring at the door. Nor call. Not leave a card. Typical behaviour of dishonest company and staff.
Got refunded one eventually.

ReturnsIn my years as a state administrator, I have purchased more than 100 HP printers and have used them personally in my home business. The printers have always been solid and support satisfactory. However that is no longer the case. My previous printer would not maintain a connection to the wifi, but I was unable to convince technical support, so I just bought a new printer, another HP. It is a 9015e and works well, but if I refuse to buy HP printer cartridges from HP, they shut off my printer. This is horrible support and I refuse to be held hostage. I will be replacing this new printer as soon as my time expires with my current printer cartridges. I refuse to do business with a company who can shut off my printer whenever they want anytime I don't comply to their wishes. Goodbye HP. We had a lot of good years, but you have crossed the line.
Tip for consumers:If you purchase an HP printer, you must purchase HP ink or they will shut off your printer. I do not use my printer enough to use the ink fast enough, so they shut me off even though I still have good ink levels. If you do not buy enough ink often enough, they shut you down.

QualityMy teenage daughter purchased a laptop directly from HP as they offer a student discount, we live in Melbourne Australia. After paying $1000 after the discount she was delivered a laptop that does not work. After speaking to their tech department twice without resolution I had to step in. They refused to replace the laptop and organised for a courier to pick it up to be serviced. Only when the labels arrived did we find that it was being taken to Singapore, nowhere in Australia. Who knows how long it will be till it's returned and she needs it for uni.
It took long phone calls and threats just to get any sort of service or assistance form this company which I think may be located in India. Don't rely on just their name and assume you are safe in buying something from them as they are such a big company. I have never been so angry trying to deal with a company before.
Students beware, I know they are advertising with unidays and some other big names. If something is wrong help it is very difficult. Go to a store and consider a different brand.Ordered ink for printer. Confirmed and said "shipped" next day. Five calls later and 9 days later STILL cannot tell me when it will ship. Have been unable to print for that time.
Customer service is horrible, lies to you, and could care less I have an account/purchased over $3,000 from HP or attempt to make purchase right. Would not let me cancel order but suggested I go to Walmart to purchase ink!

ShippingGod forbid your printer runs out of paper in the middle of printing something bc when you reload it will print starting from the top and in my case, printed 4 copies of a 30 page packet (that I specifically put a 7 page range in) 3 times, for a total of 60 pages using all of your ink which of course you can only buy at a hugely marked up price from them because they are proud of trapping customers with their $#*!ty uppriced products. I can't wait until I can replace this thing with something of better quality and from a company with even an ounce of integrity. $#*! you hp

QualityI purchased an HP Envy printer. The set-up was quite complicated. I had two of my "tech savvy" friends help and finally got it working. In no time I was getting a message that my printer wasn't connected to my internet. After many attempts at fixing the problem I kept receiving that message. After paying the Geek Squad I discovered that HP was causing this fake error because I did not renew my ink subscription. I was shocked that they caused this issue. I will never purchase another HP product and urge all potential purchasers to beware of this scheme!If you buy a computer from HP direct you cannot return it without a restocking fee even if you haven't used it for a day.
This is absolutely outrageous.
Tip for consumers:If you buy a computer and somehow want to return it, HP charges a restocking fee even if the computer has not been unboxed.

QualityI will never buy an HP printer again, nor any HP products, for the rest of my life. I don't care how much a different brand costs. The printer themselves are fine, but the experience I've been having as a customer has been absolutely terrible.
I bought a brand new HP ENVY Inspire printer. Once I set it up, the very first thing it does is enroll me for their subscription service. I thought that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I don't print very often, so why would I pay a monthly fee when all I need is ink every once in a while. It may be years before I need a new ink cartridge. So I opted out of the subscription, which they DO NOT LIKE. They made me jump through hoops to opt out.
Then, about a month or so into owning the printer, approx. Printing 15-20 pages, it started printing like crap. After HOURS of back and forth and multiple calls with tech support, I finally got it out of the guy from HP, who was embarrassed to admit that they ship their printers with ink cartridges that are about 10-20% full. No wonder why it was printing like crap, there was no more ink left after those first 15-20 pages I printed, all black, normal amount text, nothing crazy.
Surprise surprise, he tried like five times to sell me on signing up for their subscription service. I kept saying no because sometimes I go months without printing anything. And when I do print, it's like 1-5 pages. I am not paying a monthly fee because I bought one of your printers, HP.
So, I did what anyone in their right mind would do, I went to amazon to see what my options are for ink. I bought a non HP brand of ink because they were half the price. Now about a dozen printed pages later, my printer is telling me that I must use authentic HP ink cartridges and is denying me to print anything.
HP, just sell your printers for more money and back off of forcing us to sign up for your stupid subscription service. This isn't a streaming service or a business where I should have to pay you monthly. I will pay for when I need ink. And if there are better options out there for ink, then that is what I will buy. That's capitalism baby, get better or get lost.
You just lost a customer for life due to your tricky antics. I hate companies that don't lay it all out there. What other tricks lie around the next corner? You've forced me to jump through your last hoop. I will pour gasoline on my hp envy inspire and smile from ear to ear as I watch it burn and melt into nothing but junk knowing you will never receive another penny from me, a hardworking business owner. You guys suck.
Oh, did I mention I had a perfectly working hp printer before all of this, they just refuse to offer a way to use my old printer on newer computers. I hate HP with a passion now. I won't let this hate consume me, but for the love of all things holy don't get involved with their shady sales tactics.

Cons: Integrated GPU limits its possibilities, has no optical drive DVDMy first laptop was an HP and every laptop since. Until today. My laptop froze while watching a video on youtube. I had to do a hard restart. Then came the repair loop. Then after a restart I brought up restore but it couldn't do it. Then I tried a reset and it said the os was just gone and finally it stopped detecting the hard drive. This is the second time this has happened and I am tired of losing everything because a laptop goes from perfectly fine to trash in the blink of an eye.

QualityHP has terrible customer service. I have an HP M209dwe which has very little use. When I ran into a problem only one month after the warrantee expired, they would not even attempt any help without charging me. I will never purchase another HP product. I should have listened to the reviews before I purchased this product as there were lots of bad reviews. How bad can they really be... Well I found out for myself that they are terrible. DO NOT PURCHASE AN HP PRODUCT!

Purchased a new HP Pagewide printers, was about $1000, after I used up the OEM inks I purchased aftermarket inks for a a year HP decided to put out an update that disables the printer from using aftermarket inks... HP F%&@K YOU!
I own that printer and its my choice to put whatever brand of ink I chose, its like saying I can't put OEM oil in my car... Now I just have a Giant boat anchor!
I now own Epson printers in my home and office.
