    You CANNOT get them on. Your heel will NOT fit in them. There is a loop at the back to help you but there is no muscle power on earth that is stron enough to pull them on. The ankle opening has no give. Terrible design. I was able to get them on one time. It took me 30 minutes. I was so hot and pissed,I canceled my whole day. These are a joke.     I used to be a loyal Steve Madden customer. In recent years the quality has gone down tremendously. Reading many of the other reviews. I doubt I'll get any satisfaction; possibly not even a reply I am including photos of the two pairs of boots that are no longer wearable Value Quality
    It was my first and las time buying from Steve Madden. The service is so pathetic. I have been waiting for them to pick up the shoes that I want to return but they don't even respond to the phone calls and emails. I expected a very excellent service because of the brand name
    I have always had really good luck with steve madden shoes. Heels in particular. They run a little small so order one 1/2 size up. I only buy their shoes that are real leather. Steve madden makes many different lines with different standards of quality in my opinion. Recently I received a pair I was not happy with. They were marked final sale. I called steve madden and they graciously allowed me a return and refund. Steve madden's best shoes and styles can be found at nordstrom, where I shop often. I probably won't buy directly from steve madden again because of their final sale return policy. At least at a major retailer I can get them shipped and returned for free if necessary. I recently went to a steve madden outlet store and was shocked. The quality was not at all what I was used to. I'm sticking with the selection at nordstrom. Just bought four pair and love them!     I've been emailing since Friday and messaged on Facebook. I'm trying to get a return label. I tried online but as belfast don't have dpd drop off points I need to contact the company to arrange pick up. No one answers emails in this company. Honestly the worst costumer service ever.     I ordered boots that were in stock, didn't receive them for after almost two weeks. They blamed it on a warehouse move. Then a month passed. They then said the boots might not even be in stock anymore since the holiday sales began - ridiculous since I ordered ahead of time to avoid this. They said they would look for the shoes - then just cancelled my order. I am STILL awaiting my refund. I had to follow up with them because it still hasn't come and they blamed it on a "system error". Genuinely how many of those can there be? They said I'd receive it by the end of the day and - spoiler alert - I still don't have it. Avoid ordering from them at all costs - go in person or buy secondhand if you have to.     I placed a order for Steve Madden sneakers and matching pocketbook 2 months ago I received the sneakers but still haven't received the pocketbook. I was told it was on backorder I'd receive it by Dec. 1st I emailed them and now it went from Dec.1st to Dec. 6th my order is completely paid for yet I haven't received my merchandise. If I don't reach out to them they don't update me very unprofessional of them to do no one should be treated like this especially when they're spending their money.     I spent my hard earned money on the beautiful black lasso boots from Steve Madden. $217 after tax. The most I have ever spent on a boot was $80 and those had ok quality and still are with me to this day after repeated wear. These black lasso boots however are falling apart and it's so disheartening to see as someone who can't just throw away $200. The shoes paint is falling off and the sole and heel are breaking down. Customer service and store is no help. Sorry return policy is 30 days and I'm like why would I return a shoe that I like that just happens to have terrible quality. There has to be a customer satisfaction guarantee and I'll def find it. Tip for consumers:Order new shoes scrappy heels and the paint is the same quality.     Should have spent a little more and gone with a high quality brand. Bought sneakers for my daughter which she received at Christmas. After wearing them a handful of times, they have fallen apart. Ashley from the 'Customer Satisfaction Team' said she couldn't help with a replacement or credit because too much time had passed. Note to self for future shoe buying decisions.     I ordered the "Stecyy" heel on Wednesday (before 1pm) and paid for 2 day shipping but it got to my front door the next day! Shipping was great but the shoes are very expensive and sitewide coupons have a lot of exclusions
    DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE! These all caps are not an exaggeration. I returned a complete order worth nearly $9000 of shoes because the quality of them was absolutely horrendous. Using the labels they provided, it arrived at their warehouse in Bloomington on 7/24/23. Fast forward to the time of me writing this email (9/14/24) and they still have not refunded me. I showed them pictures of proof that the Fedex driver picked up the return order, yet they still insist on having me "Wait a few days so they can check the warehouse". Well they have been checking the warehouse now for nearly 2 months. I truly believe this company is trying to scam me out of my refund.     I bought my shoes on Black Friday, I pre-ordered them in-store. I never received an order number for the shoes and contacted customer service (who thought I was lying) until I got a representative to tell me to contact the store. After contacting the store, they reordered the shoes for me. Great? No. It is now near the end of December. Even though I have an order number with tracking information, the shoes are still missing. Contacting customer service is no help. As they give me the same lines of "we don't know." The tracking info states the shoes have never left the warehouse. It's been like this for over 2 weeks!     My mother ordered a Steve Madden bag for me as a gift. Had it shipped to my house and it never came. I'm not sure what happened with the shipping or even if the bag order was processed at all because we can't even get a response back after sending countless questions and requests for order updates through their order form!     I should have read these reviews before ordering from the Steve Madden website because what I received is appalling. I ordered the Barclay Sand Leather Boots (Order #*******), and it arrived obviously worn. They came with extreme creases, and there was even a stain on the inside of the left boot with hair attached. Does quality control even exist? Why would they send this filth to paying customers? Take your money elsewhere cause clearly Steve Madden doesn't care about their customers if they're letting them pay $100 for dirty shoes.
    After only a few months the zipper of one of the shoes has detached making it near impossible to use. The zipper falling off of a pair of $120 shoes after a few months of normal use is obviously either a defect or speaks to the brand's quality. Customer service was ZERO help and was very unapologetic, they say you can get a replacement pair in the case of defects but if this stops after only a month you're left with zero support when defects become apparent after the fact.
