MidPhase Review
Someone offered to build me a free website though MidPhase in exchange for a portfolio review. I did have the MidPhase expense for the 1st year.
The website on its own was awfully sub-par and SEO options were limited. The deign was so bad that I opted to re-do it myself and still unhappy I forwarded my domain to a second domain/website with GoDaddy Hosting and WordPress SiteBuilder.
I tried to cancel my MidPhase account within the 14 days allowed but was unable to finish the online cancellation because the page would not accept my username, email or client ID.
The customer service rep did respond quickly and offered me some discounts but for some reason I was unable to receive a full refund and thus have ignored my account this past year.
As for MidPhase hosting the interface was easy to learn to use as was the limited site builder.
They offer CloudFlare which I use with my WP site www.ATRpsychics.com.
CloudFlare is a free service to increase the speed of your site but complicated to set-up, I paid someone $5 on Fiverr.com to do it for me so I wouldn't sign-up just for that reason. I'm unsure if this is a paid upgrade.
The price is competitive, my renewal notice is for $71.40 for the midPhase Linux Personal Web Hosting plan and free domain name.
In short unless you require a simple website I would only advise MidPhase hosting with WordPress site builder.
Tip for consumers:Unless you require a simple website I would only advise MidPhase hosting with WordPress site builder or even better GoDaddy Hosting with WordPress.
