I attempted to order several items from Chadwicks until I noticed $15.49 in shipping charges. NO THANKS!I had two representatives to lie to me. I talked to a representative on 04-18 24 about the shipping fee was too high. He said to me, I would give you a refund of 13.49 shipping fee as a one time courtesy, so on 04-23-24, I called again to follow up and another representative told me, yes I see in the notes you're going to get your refund. I called again on 04-30-24, and spoke to another representative, she said nobody processed a Refund. Both of Chadwicks representative lied. Also I ordered a rose color top, it looked pink when I received it and the representative said it would be 10.19 to return it. The top cost 18 + dollars. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I paid extra for expedited shipping because they are usually slow. It shipped on 9/6. One main item was backordered. I requested an update via the website with no response. Now I will certainly be very hesitant to ever place another order with Chadwicks again due to poor communication, less than honest practices and unhelpful customer services. I tried to cancel the rest of the order, only to learn that it had shipped today. When I mentioned that their sizing should be consistent, I was transferred to "head office". After waiting on hold for several minutes, all I got was another support person (sounded like they were also from India) who was no further up the food chain than the original person I spoke with. They were much too small in the waist, so I sent them back with the enclosed USPS Chadwick's return label and ordered a size 10. The size 10 were almost exactly too small in the waist as the size 8! But I decided to keep them and have them pressed to wear, hoping I could manage the too-tight waistband. I wore them today with a pin in the too-small waist and found that the pants are a magnet for any piece of lint or white speck of anything, and immediately looked like they needed to be dry cleaned. Meanwhile, the size 8 pants I returned in mid-Dec. Have not reached Chadwick's for the refund. I assumed the return label had a tracking no. On it, but apparently not. Customer service rep has no idea where the returned pants are. Both pants were $59, but by the time shipping was added and some sort of extra shipping fee, the price came up to $80 or more. I returned the two pastel colored elbow length t-shirts in the same box that they were mailed in and I kept the post office receipt to document the return. When the Chadwicks on line chat informed me that I must email the company, I followed the directions but no one answered my query. Subsequently, I sent Chadwicks in Chelmsford MA, the copies of my documentation - the AmEx purchase, proof of payment, the actual confirmation of the order being received and a copy of the USPS receipt as proof of return. No one has responded. I suppose the next step is to contact the Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce? My advice, do not order anything from Chadwicks unless you are 100 percent confident that you will keep and not return the merchandise, because the company really doesn't care to follow up with customer service. Never heard from them. Three months passed. I wrote three emails to them. No reply. I called and could not understand the person on the other end because of the poor connection. I presume it was in another country. I called again to find out my exchange had NEVER been processed but treated as a return.
